the emerald cut existing is the reason why i will never understand why someone would ever want a round stone (or pretty much any other shape) in their ring. they're SO. STUPIDLY. BEAUTIFUL.
The beauty and blinding sparkle of a brilliantly cut diamond like the round and any other brilliant cut shape makes me wonder why anyone would ever have an emerald or asscher shape diamond in their ring that barely sparkles. The brilliantly cut diamonds dancing sparkle is mesmerizing and gorgeous! This is how I truly feel, however, at the end of the day: "to each their own, and we all have different taste".
Have been in retirement from years as a medical professional. Tongue piercings many times can cause not only irreparable dental damage but also major infections. It's an open wound. ( Will close shut if removed!) Please think about it.

I like the trapezoid the best, but the round brilliant 💎 will always be my fave 😊 I do think the larger bands tend to over power the engagement rings 💍 though.

Hi Bonnie, loved the video. Two things- An emerald cut is beautiful but at one carat it looks puny! Got to have a bigger stone to have it look right, although I suppose that is a matter of opinion. Secondly, if you wore a wedding band of all bagets could it sit flush against the engagement ring? All bagets would be even lower profile. Don’t like it when the two rings don’t sit flush.
Thank you dear. People definitely have different opinion regarding carat size. You know my preference HAHA ;) But sometimes we have clients who feel safer wearing a smaller carat so I am happy to make it as long as it makes them happy. You can wear baguette diamonds instead of emerald cuts.
I have a dilemma now - choosing the diamond cut for my ring upgrade!! @bybonniejewelry - for an emerald, 2.5 ct, do you recommend a cathedral basket or the more open “x” style? My local jeweler said the cathedral protects the stone more
Hi dear! It depends on the way the ring is built, but for a larger carat (and emerald cut). Sometimes cathedral does add support! So your jeweler's recommendation is absolutely valid❤
I don’t love that large eternity band with that first solitaire. I feel like it takes away from the solitaire. It’s a gorgeous band. It seems almost like it needs to be with a larger emerald cut.

I have to disagree. Emerald-cut diamonds are the least forgiving when it comes to color. Round is always the most forgiving because of its faceting. Pear shape and Oval still do a better job as masking color as long as there is not extreme bowtie.

The emerald rings and the bands don't go together at all. These bands, just like the halos, detract from the beauty of the single stone. The bagettes and the trapezoids are okay because they highlight the single stone.
