Great vid, you know, in a strange way, your review makes the Bellagio look brilliant. Hotels have historically not made money on buffets. With that in mind and now back from COVID, the Bellagio is saying "what do we have to prove, let's keep it simple, we're not making money anyway"... The interesting part... This does look better than the Bellagio. They need to step it up and at least offer the quality I see here at the Excalibur. Between the two, you guys have given us an easy choice at the Excalibur... Again, great vid, love to you both.

My favorite part of this video: Derrick is tasting the fried chicken, and Catherine is looking at him with hope that it's super yum. That's love. ❤️❤️ This buffet looked really good! Not super duper fancy, but good, fresh food. YAY!

Derrick's fixation on the cold eggs ruined that video for me. We got it, they were cold, but every minute that's all he focused on....move on. He should morph to 4 and 5 star steakhouse's, and skip the buffets. His video's are no longer the one's I loved watching.

Wow, I NEVER would have picked Excalibur for their buffet, but this actually looks pretty good! It's not fancy like Wicked Spoon or Bacchanal, but seems like a decent selection with some interesting options.

My Grandfather's last job was building the foundation and structure of the Excalibur...anyway thanks for the detailed buffet video. Part of the fun is seeing all the food and deciding what you would get. You two do an excellent job of capturing the experience

That's a pleasant surprise, Excalibur was considered one of the worst buffets in Vegas, and It's nice to see they have improved so much. Just hope they start opening weekdays, and hope that the buffet at the orleans opens soon and get's the message from excalibur!. Great job guys!!

The buffet is open on weekdays Monday, Thursday and Friday. They are closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

What a fun review! Just like old times. I was ravenous by the end! I noticed Derek took the top plate in the stack, not the second. I was urging him not to accept the end piece of brisket, but the ribs made up for it. The custom crepes were the ultimate. Thanks for the entertainment!

I've eaten at the Excalibur Buffet in the past, but this looks amazing! After seeing your recent review of the Luxor Buffet, I didn't have any expectations for this one. But wow! I may need to revisit the Excalibur Buffet on my next visit to Las Vegas! I hope they keep it up that way!

Nice to see more buffets opening up; maybe one of the surest indicators that Vegas is on the upswing. Even better to see the Excalibur buffet looking better than the times I had eaten there in previous visits (mid-late 90s) price has increased considerably since then but so has everywhere else.

From what I read palace station won't be opening again. They claim they lost money. It's a shame too because they did a beautiful remodel.

Looking forward to my return to the Excalibur in November. Thank you for the review of their Buffet. I have always enjoyed the Excalibur buffet since they opened in 1990; living through many changes. They have always had the best ice cold chocolate milk dispenser machine. Thank you for the positive review. My mouth is watering for the Excalibur buffet... Can't wait until November. One of the few buffets in Vegas where the meats served up in the “Carvery” look and must taste better than “institutional” grade. You did the Excalibur a favor with your positive review.

Great video! Will definitely try the Excalibur buffet as I was also disappointed by the Bellagio Buffet. A moderately priced buffet with tom yum soup is amazing. Bellagio has miso soup, but very salty.

I appreciate your review so much. My husband and I are going in June with our 16-year-old son. I wanted him to try a Vegas Buffet but didn’t know where to go. I don’t eat enough to warrant the cost of the Bellagio. I think ex caliber is going to be our selection.
