cioppino is actually an american dish. It was invented in North Beach, San Francisco by Italian immigrants/fisherman. Its roots are Northern Italian though and they def eat fish stews in Italy :) .. and they may argue the origin lol Thanks for sharing your review
Sampled this buffet in December; breakfast foods are very good as were the offerings on the carving station. Deserts are full size pieces of pie and cake and are very good.

I don't usually do buffets when in Vegas. There are just so many great restaurants I hate to fill up on cheap buffet foods. And if I eat big at a buffet I definitely don't feel like walking around. I would rather eat small during the day and eat a big meal at night.
Nice video. Been to the Excalibur Buffet a few times. Back in 2009 the one-time buffet was like $8.99 and a 24-hour band was $18.99. Last time there was 2017 and I believe they only had the one time for like $15.99. Guess no more dinner. Food variety look a lot less than before?
aaahhh the excalibur.... brings back great memories going to the game room downstairs as a kid probably 1,000x LOL. my mother is from las vegas and all of my family on her side still lives there and LA so i've grown up going to vegas multiple times a year through out my life. one of the best buffets in my opinion is at the M Resort. its obviously way far out from the hustle and bustle of the strip but its worth the drive!
Great presentation! I like how you used an appropriate amount of light while recording the food items. Typically I see reviewers use excessive light and the food doesn't look good.
We go to their buffet when we stay there. We use it at breakfast time because we LOVE the omelets. Fresh veggies, bacon, cheese and fresh salsa. That's what I like. Delicious.
Consider hopping on the Park MGM tram and doing the Wicked Spoon at the Cosmopolitan instead - its $9 more per person, but an incredibly better quality buffet for breakfast. I hope you enjoy your trip to Vegas!
The thing is, the Wicked Spoon is literally $9 more a person and it is dramatically better. Even with a Myvegas BOGO offer, just go with the Bellagio instead. There is not much of a need for this buffet when dramatically better ones for only slightly higher prices exist.
are there once 15 years ago. It was god awful some food cold or chinease food drenched in ginger that nothing was edible. I couldn’t try the rest but yea
I hear they have an all day pass, but its too bad they're only open til 3PM. I think if Im going for breakfast, Ill just eat at the tons of places that have breakfast for like 5-6 bucks than eating at an okay buffet.
That’s a good deal. I just spent 35 bucks (including tip) for a lousy steak and eggs at salt and ivy inside aria. Potatoes were terrible and steak was mediocre. Eggs runny , white part not even cooked. For the same price you get all this? Yeah that’s a no brainer.

Great video as always, I love buffets and i like the way you went through it with the dual cams, That was a great idea, I was sold at the carving station, but that french toast, Pazole and Birria Look Bomb. coming From California, $30.00 barely gets you to the next gas station. So dropping that on this buffet might be worth it. Can't wait to see how good the Pazole will cure my hangover. Keep them coming!
I hadn't been to Vegas in a few years, and when I went this past September, I was pretty shocked at the food prices at Excalibur. I don't think the buffet is worth it. The only place I really enjoyed was Buca di Beppo, an Italian restaurant. The menu was extensive and the prices were reasonable. I wish I had discovered it before I spent way too much at other spots, including the food court. Twenty two dollars for a burger is ridiculous.
Kind of messy in some stations. But if you say it’s good then I’ll take your word for it. I was surprised they were just dumping a container of dressing in the dish. Should have took the old tray out and put a fresh dressing tray in its place. Saw the yogurt with a dripping of the other yogurt. Didn’t really look nice.
I ate that buffet one and it was the worst eating out experience of my life, however some members of our group loved it. I found it bad, in the bad way.
Hey Jorge ! The buffet tables looked a bit messy.... maybe caused the patrons were a careless when taking food. I think the buffets at the Station Casinos look better. I used to always enjoy the buffet at the Santa Fe Station. Also, the one at the Red Rock was pretty good too. Oh wait, isn't that a Station Casino?
I can't believe the mess of the buffets on all reviews, don't they have staff cleaning around the dishes and making them presentable again and the server that was putting more ranch dressing from the container in front of you instead of taking it out and refilling on the back bench or just replacing with a new full container. In Australia we still don't have any buffets open and probably won't because of going through covid. Most of the buffets look a mess. And n I t worth the money.
Go there with enough MyVegas rewards points so that you get 2 for 1 price then it's not too bad. I'm only going there for breakfast in the morning to fill up. It's cheaper than any buffet here in Perth. Only decent buffet now in Perth is the Atrium at Crown and that ain't cheap. They don't even serve steak any more at dinner. Everything they served up I pretty much get for free when I'm away for work. I don't know where you are but here in Perth it's friggin expensive now going out for a meal.
I learned all I need to know about their quality control and standards when I saw them just dumping more dressing out of the tub onto the old dressing in front of customers.
It may be the cheapest, by far the WORST buffet I’ve ever been to. Even the Golden Corral is better and that’s saying a lot. The Italian section consisted of pizza only. The Asian section consisted of cold noodles and white rice that was so old it stuck together. I had some brisket, half of it was fat and the other half was grisly. I would not even feed this to my dog. Spend the extra money and go to a decent buffet.
who needs to eat that much food for lunch? how many calories do you need and how many did you have? do you hate yourself? why are you doing this torture to your body? it is your body, you will pay the cost of doing this for yourself. ok...I know you will not agree with me today. but, someday you will realize what I said... keep doing it.
missing the bacon is not a problem for those who never ate it before. it is a problem for those who know its taste and miss its taste desperately. I wish you did not know it either. Let me ask, do you feel sory for not being able to eat kokoretsi at all?
