In this video you will learn how to select motor & gear Box for a Chain Conveyor. Also a excel calculator is provided for understanding. Sheet will be as below link waraquetaza.com/wp-content/up...
Dear sir, Thank you for sharing knowledge I am facing problem to calculate same required torque and motor power for screw conveyor which is use to convey powder Please share calculation for screw conveyor
I appreciate your help in providing me a brief equation or rule of thumb to calculate the specific energy consumption as Kwh/Mt/Km , belt speed = 2.5 meter per second, trough angle = 30 , surcharge = 25, material = excavated soil (sand) , lump size less than 150 mm , density =1,550 kg/M3 , belt length = 5 Km (multiple flights ) , Flow = 3500 to 4,000 Mt/Hr , Route inclination= zero inclination, Width = 1,200 mm , considering these inputs , how much electricity will be consumed in electrical motor as Kwh per metric ton (Weight) per Km (distance)
Dear when we are calculating value of Torque, In second Cell you multiply No of component with 3.66, From where we got that Value ? i mean 3.66? Please Reply
Excuse me! I do not understand why Choose Gear Box ratio( preassumed) = 60 (using 3,14 for calculation formula ) But when calculate Gear Box ratio selected as 19.1 approx ( not using 3,14 for calculation formula) Can you help me?
Hi, I think there is a formula error in the calculation of motor output rpm as you have not divided by pi in the sheet. please check and confirm once. motor output rpm should be 6000/(3.142*120)*60 as per my calculations.

Sir, I want to find motor RPM, by using( Belt speed-150mm/sec. , 1Hp motor & Drive roller diameter-125mm). Please reply to this question... ( in converyor)
If it is directly connected to Pulley ie without gear box then answer is 22.92 rpm.. if connected with gearbox say 60 then motor rpm will be 1400.. use formula pi*d*n/60 .. d is dia in mm .... n is rpm of motor ...
