In Part Two of the video on P.38's from WW2, Tom focuses on some of the later war guns. He starts off with a surprise 7.65 caliber P.38 from 1940, and takes us all the war to the end of war guns including one put together by the American GI's in April of 1945. All of these pieces will be listed on our website with plenty more to replace these when they sell out! Enjoy.

I remember when I worked for John Martz when I was younger, he received a .30 calibre P38 pistol from a customer. We fired a few rounds of .30 Luger ammunition through it and found it to be a very accurate and well functioning pistol .

Late war/end of war P 38s rule! Lots of unusual stuff to collect. Rude and crude😊

The "Gott Mit Uns" motto on the belt buckle was a carryover from WW1.

How would you say the quality of the FN slide is in comparison to other p.38 manufactured slides. Is it on par with say, Mauser production slides ?

I'm very interested in collecting a Lugar or P38 originally manufactured in the early '40s. Ballpark, how much would an average price be for a kit (holster, extra magazine included)? Very nice!

A Luger rig is going to be about 2k minimum. P.38 rig, more like 1800 minimum. Good luck

It loooks like the second P.38, is a byf 43 , 433F? but not a 359 walther.

Correct. I said AC 43, but it is BYF 43. (Mauser)

Would you be, or could you recommend someone, interested in a Field Grade, single trigger L.C. Smith 20 ga. number 15564E? I looked up the serial number and it was made in 1919. We did business a few years ago and you were very fare. Thanks, if you can help.

Another fine video, thanks. This video got me thinking while watching the Police Eagle. You mentioned that the gun first received the byf stamp and then was inspected and stamped by the police. How long of an inspection did guns receive? In general, was it a quick look or more through?
