Slingblade is fantastic. I like how he used regular people including some hometown friends and film in rural Arkansas not pretend Arkansas (Canada). The music was nice in it too very chill.
i remember hitting up The Exchange when I was in Chicago. Wish we had them in east. I remember being pretty psyched to see The Fugitive when it came out. Ultimately I think I thought it was good but not great. But I watched it more recently and think I liked it more now. Have you see Frantic? Similar kinda material in a way and I always liked that more. Did they include the original short on Sling Blade? Cool pickups dude.
Yes, Frantic is similar to The Fugitive, but with that dark Polansky touch. Sling Blade has several special features and High Def Digest lists them all, but I don’t remember seeing a short film. I had been a long time since I saw it last and man it’s a dark movie.
