Nothing can replace William's wife. She was a magnificent queen in her own right. But princess Isabelle had a pure and virtuous heart. Also very deserving of real love!
I just love Sophie in this movie. So lovely, soft and kind hearted. She acted a real Princess. After watching the movie, I'm just wondering. Who is more beautiful Murron or Isabella?
"I 'LOVE ', THAT SCENE, SHE 'FIND'S, 'LOVE' WITH HIM, & SHE'S NOT 'LONELY ' ANYMORE, & THE 'WAY' HE 'LOOK'S' AT HER, -'AND SHE BECOMES LIKE WATER!!!."💯💯💯👍😍🥰❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹🌹💘💘💘💘💋💋💋💋💋💋
When you fail to describe your feeling or defend yourself in specific time or situation, then your interior gaze is pure, not yet tainted by malice and by incrustations of life which harden the heart.... 🦉
She becomes water, ALRIGHT, she finds LOVE & KNOWS, she'll NEVER be the same, she'll NEVER get OVER that ONE, it's the WAY he's LOOKING at her NOW, I LOVE what she says to LONGSHANKS, IT'S a Big DEAL, his BLOOD LINE, to him. But she knows she's not the same woman , she's NEVER going to get over him!!!💯💯💯👍👍👍😘😍🥰❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹💋💋💋
A master piece....They dont do this kind of epic movies anymore. Sad....too much Super damn heroes fucking movies...smhh..!! eventho i did enjoyed them, but theyre not as great as this one.
Saw this in 2005 was 11 years, this movie taught me how to love and how to fight ,and not to accept slavery but to revolt ek widhrooh ki tarah ek zoononi fighter ki tarah jo apne bare values ke liyea Jaan dene ko humse tayaar ho
The character in the movie, Isabella, is really fiction. Isabella was not married until after Wallace had been dead a couple years. They probably never met. She married when she was about 12, so this movie's depiction in not historical. And, she was called a She Wolf, in part for deposits her husband. She was no timid woman.
Historical fact: in reality this princess was at the time, like 8 or 10 years if i remember quite what i read. And she was still in France. Isabella and Wallace never met, and he was an adult and she was just a child, probably not knowing yet that she would merry the son of Longshanks.
So in mel gibson's universe, william wallace's kid becomes Ed the 3rd who goes on to demolish pretty much everybody he comes against, Robbie Bruce included. Way to go william.
I know! He also forced his mother, Isabella, out of power, put her in a convent and had her lover beheaded! Such a nice son. Well at least he was a great macho warrior, I guess that counted more than anything else to the writers (who must have considered that their version would make Wallace the father of Edward III).
Virginia Neil Totally. It made me just so sad. I don't doubt he truly loved her (he even had illusions with her before he died), but when you really love someone that deeply you should honour her/him in every way possible. And the all thing gets even sadder when you can actually understand Princess' Isabella side. She wasn't the one to blame at all.
+Laurent Grek when you marry someone , you are devoting your whole life to that 1 person , and you do not cheat on them for sure , William betrayed Murron , maybe it was grief that led him to sleep with princess isabelle, but all in all he still betrayed Murron x .
Great. This film turns William Wallace into a cartoon character. Its ok to lead a rebellion without any military experience, nobleman can do farming (William Wallace was a minor nobleman) and its ok to have an affair with a lady with f`royal blood, are you kidding me? This is XIII century for Christ sake! Get your facts right before making a script. Where did Randal Wallace wrote this? In Disneyland?
This is not a historic documentary, but a movie who just wanna tell a story. It doesn't matter if it's incorrect historically, as long as the story is well done and touching. This is what we call an adaptation. You know, many historic romans and movies took a lot of liberty from the historical facts. "The three musketeers" from Alexandre Dumas for example or the movie "Quo Vadis". It's incorrect from a historical point of view, true. But that doesn't make "Braveheart" a bad movie.
