Nothing exciting. We have been using keil to develop most of our products for many years, but now it does not support the keil compiler. For the sake of product stability, we do not plan to ask engineers to re-analyze other development tools, which will add additional costs. Our risk and cost. We plan to use other chips for the next product. We are very disappointed with nrf connect sdk.
Thank you for your feedback. If you have ongoing projects using nRF5 SDK it is indeed the best approach to stay in that environment. But for new designs we highly recommend nRF Connect SDK which brings a modern approach to embedded IoT development, including the advanced capabilities of nRF Connect for VSCode the preferred IDE. Keep in mind that looking for alternative chip vendors implies migrating to a new SDK as well, and we at Nordic have unmatched free educational material in the Developer Academy to help you get started as quickly as possible: academy.nordicsemi.com/
