Getting rid of dysphoria is the best advantage of having this surgery, dysphoria bothered me for so many years, now it's great to be free of it. As for sensation, the more you like what you have, the more it feels alive and responding. It's a unique experience. Absolutely amazing.

Hey Finn! My name is Callum and I am a 14 year old trans man (I’ve been out for three years). Surgery is SOOO far away for me but I do think that it’s important for me to do my research before hand to be fully prepared for both surgeries. Thank you so much for making these videos! I really can’t express how grateful I am for your documentation of your journey. I just took an exciting tangible step towards my own bottom surgery today-I had a consultation with an OB/GYN surgeon in my area who has a ton of experience with trans patients to talk about my hysterectomy! I’m still a pretty far way out from phalloplasty, but it feels good to know that I’m making progress. ❤️

I really appreciate the way you've talked about this! I think often times when discussing medical things we only talk about how something looks or the pain or sensation you get back, but these other kinds of sensations and feelings are super important too.

I absoluely agree. This is exactly why I share the way I do, and why I made an entire memoir about my experience, because it is actually the feeling and the experience part that is the most important and useful. Its good to know the medical info etc, but its how this surgery changes us emotionally that really counts isnt it?

Thank you so much for your information. Its been so hard to find someone who full on explains the sensation other than just saying the broad term "you feel it." Ive been going through a rough time with my meta complications and it keeps prolonging my phallo surgery. This video makes me super hopeful that one day I will finally be able to get where you're at and I can finally be done with all this surgery nonsense.

Ive been there with complications and it feels like its never ending, but eventually we do get to where we need to be and all the pain and frustration just melts away! I'm very intresssted in Phaloplasty but I see so few talk about how they feel about the "donor" site after healing, If I remember correctly you made a video about gettingthe tattoo there and breefly touched on it then. But if /when you feel up to it I lould love to hear your thoughts now when Finn Jr is finnished :) thank you take care!

I already think of you as a wonderful person but your partner is absolutely a beautiful man who is giving and loving and loves you no matter what. He was surely thrown into this head first and has adjusted to every part and has only saw you as the man you are. Yes, Chris went through the biggest part, the errection! We had some hillarious moments after that surgery! Chris is a wonderful man, and his love and acceptance shows that it is possible for someone to know nothing about trans people but still be open to learning. Its often assumed, that people, especially gay men, wouldnt want to date a trans man, but that really isnt true at all. There are plenty of people that can see past the trans history, the differently configured body, and not mind one bit. I love him so much and I am not letting him go anywhere!

The right body the right partner true peace inside that you are now whole not only the right body but with your true spiritual other half. I would be a liar if I didnt say how jealous of you but so happy for you also. I look forward to seeing you and him grow and blossom into each other. I no longer see you really as a couple. You are two halves of the whole puzzle. In this shit time and shit world it heartens me to see good things can still happen. I'm actually in the process of getting together with an author that wants me to share my road ive traveled. You have influenced the fork in the road ive decided to travel. So I want you to know that your dream continues to grow with those you reach. It's not just your dream. You have made me see that it's possible for us older folk that we can still grow into ourselves even in the silver and golden years. Thank you so much for putting yourself out there pretty much bare and letting us see the whole picture. I couldnt have been so open and again I say bare. Its going to come in waves between winter and summer. Rona is our new neighbor we hate but have to learn to live with. We are gonna be stuck vaccinating every few months if the vaccines keep working. I love these updates, especially when I'm hoping I'll be have stage one with-in a year or so. I have 18lbs to lose before the surgeon, that accepts my insurance, will even schedule me for my second consultation. My first consultation was a few years ago and I was told I had to lose weight. Now that I'm so close to meeting the weight requirement I've started to gather information again so I'm as ready as possible. Like I haven't already researched it to death. lol It's how I stay sane waiting, I guess. 😂 Anyway, I'm always glad to see your updates. 😁 If you need any topic ideas I'd like to know what things did you have on had both at the hospital and at hope that helped the most after each stage of surgery. When I had my top surgery I was so glad that I'd seen someone say how much a wedge pillow helped them be more comfortable so I'd ordered one and it helped soooo much. So I'd like any suggestions for this set of surgeries too.

Thanks for this amazing content, it's helping me a lot! The only thing that scares me and that has made me delay the hysterectomy twice is the possibility that one day there will be a shortage of testosterone. Have you ever considered it? It's a thing that always come to my mind when i have to made a decision about doing all the process to phalloplasty. Big hugs!

Hello my friend, I am so glad my content helps! I think worrying about a shortage of testosterone is something we have all been concerned about at one time or another. It is highly unlikely though. Even when one brand of T has issues, you can usually get another brand. Lots of people take testosterone, trans folks, cis men, and cis women, so it wouldnt be in anyones interest to let there be a shortage of testosterone, we will be OK!

I love penis talks. This info is very useful. In Slovakia, we don't have any doctor doing this kind of surgery. Since I am just now starting my transition, I have too many things to handle, but I'm wondering how I feel about this surgery in 5 years or so.

Since in Slovakia there is nobody who could share personal experience with this stuff, it's so precious to find people like you who talk openly about this. does anyone have any information on mld phalloplasty and how that differs from rff besides where the skin graft is from? any links/vidoes, i cant find much if any information on it. Finn, if u have information on it could you make a video? if not no worries. I think i want to do phalloplasty in the future but there's not much info on mld.
