He is far too old as well. The presidency will take a toll on him especially because he actually tries to make things better in a noble and rigorous manner.
I’d not only vote him in but offer a kidney to keep him alive for multiple terms. Far more fitting to be POTUS than almost anyone else in the country!!
I don't listen to Ben Shapiro much, but FFS this is the kind of interview that demands at least an hour. It's like when Anthony Jeselnik ended up talking to Joan Rivers . That kind of meet-up is golden. Short of literally resurrecting Adam Smith, I don't think you could find a better pairing.
I wish more people would say that. It's such a shame he's in his late eighties and not in his thirties. We need men like him for the next 50 years. The fight has just begun.
Maybe black people have less homes than white people because there are major cultural differences. Maybe compare suburbia blacks and whites to city blacks and whites. Most blacks live in cities. There are way too many variable in this situation to say it's discrimination.
I say this a lot to people who say this, but Thomas Sowell didn't really change your life per sey. The truth changed your life. Dr. Sowell just had the brilliance to put the truth into words.
I’m a conservative who listens to Ben Shapiro but Thomas Sowell really changed me on a lot of conservative views I had. The man really is one of the greatest minds of our generation.
His face is showing up all over the media... As he has now become a Rock Star. As all ages have discovered him. As he is the Progressive Liberals worst nightmare...
Sowell doesn't have many years left, and we need his intellect more than ever. I hope people like Ben Shapiro take advantage considering the current times are in great need of rational minds like him.

Dude honestly...I could listen to Sowell talk for 5 hours and still not be satisfied with the length of the interview. The guy is great on so many levels.
Also, I would like to thank Thomas Sowell for his unflagging dedication and rationality, what a precious gift to our Nation. I wish more people would listen to his wisdom. You are a National Treasure Sir. If there ever was the need for another Nation Holliday it should be your's. We should be celebrating the Best of America while they are with us. Happy Belated Birthday!
Good Lord, the guy is nearly 88 years old and still speaks just as clearly and coherently as he did decades ago. I can't wait for Dave Rubin to interview him.
Sowell is one of the smartest and most insightful people of our time. I like that he gets to the essence of what happened and continues to happen in the US through the fault of the "anointed". My respect to him from Russia.
its be a waste of his valuable time because the shit he would want to implement would never garner support in the house or the courts. he would be hated by the democrats and the some republians would be conflicted with his more libertarian ideology. so nothing would get done sadly. he just makes too much sense for the politicians we currently have. they barley let Trump get shit done and he is sort of bipartisan. I cant imagine how it would be for Sowell.
Seriously - he got Thomas Sowell?! Like, the smartest living American?? With the amount of mental energy generated between these two geniuses, I'm surprised California didn't just split open.
It's always awesome hearing Dr. Sowell speak. I'll have to look at getting this new book, sounds like it'd be a good complement to The Quest for Cosmic Justice.
I'm With Derp -〉 Your name reminds me of those old 'I'm with stupid' T-shirts, except in this case the matching shirt would be 'He's/She's the derp' instead of 'I'm the derp', that'd be a funny line of shirts!
How we know Professor Sowell is authentic genius? ? He taught us original Eco-political theory in less than 5 minutes without moving his lips & changed his hairstyle more than once all while doing it seamlessly!
Love Thomas Sowell , his books should be taught in all schools, universities. But they won't do that because after sometime with his books people start to realize and politicians organizations ngos etc., would loose their control on masses
I'm a simple chick; I see Shapiro and Sowell in the same title, I press 'like'. Far too short though. Now Ben owes us an entire episode with Prof Sowell. Live, in studio.
Thomas Sowell and Milton Friedman caused me to have many arguments with my econ professors. I’m amazed everyday by the variation in opinion on data and ways to alter it.
I think I'll skip this one. I've read probably about half of his books and most of them are an application of Conflict of Vision to different aspects of society or more data to support it, a textbook on economics, a book about late talking children and a history of various ethnic groups in the U.S. (Ethnic America). Definitely, read Conflict of Visions and Ethnic America. I haven't read Basic Economics but since it's a textbook I imagine there are others that are comparable. What I remember about the late talking children book is that he and his wife stressed about their son but he turned out OK.
