I love Black people with pets. Milo is the cutest! I appreciate Bria sharing her story on how she started having an ESA (Emotional Support Animal). Her story is so real, I know of 3 people who were given laced drugs as a joke by their “friends” & completely lost their minds. They were never the same. I’m happy she recovered from that.

I don’t know if people realize it or not but emotional support animals (ESA) is NOT the same as a service dog. Any pet can be an “emotional support animal” because their only job is to bring you comfort. Also, the process to make a pet an ESA is very easy. You just go online, take a “test” that claims you have anxiety, pay a fee of like $120 and boom, you have papers for an ESA within an hour. You can also have your doctor sign something saying you need your dog for support and get papers that way too. That’s it. A service dog however is an actual dog that is trained for persons with disabilities (ie. A seeing eye dog, a signal dog for a deaf person to alert of sounds and danger, a dog trained to recognize seizures before they happen etc.) These are service dogs that are protected by law under the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). Meaning service dogs are allowed in any setting where the owner is because they assist with your disability. So they can fly with you (no extra fees), go to restaurants, grocery stores, concerts etc. and there’s nothing no one can do or say to stop you from bringing them in to a place where dogs typically aren’t allowed. However, ESA, which is what Milo is, can be rejected because they aren’t protected by law, even with papers. You also have to pay extra for them on flights. Some airlines allow them for free but most stopped this because the increase in “emotional support animals” got ridiculous. Folks started flying with peacocks and iguanas because they are “emotional support pets.” I say all this to say, while Bria might have “papers” everyone has papers for ESAs because they’re easy to get. Really means nothing at the end of the day. I got ESA papers for my dog because I didn’t want to pay the extra dog fee on my rent 🤷🏾‍♀️😂

The one week I’m out of town and didn’t get to be LIVE! lol. I still think she has big Karen energy but I’m glad Kemp got an interview 🥰

I don’t know why they were hating on Simon’s jacket, he was overdressed maybe but so have the people in the house. If he walked in in a t-shirt they would have been critical as well. And then to mention black excellence was a bit of a dig to me as well, like they were so intimidated it’s odd. When he gave the watches they somehow changed their mind like oh this guy is legit. Good for Simon for handling it like a pro and focusing on the positive.

I honestly think Jasmine has a problem with Milo because she wants a level of control. She probably doesn’t like anything that could cause tension inside of her marriage, the house needs to be her house with her rules without surprises. She probably has Silas deciding things for her on a daily basis and as a result wants to have more control over people: No dog, no girl’s boyfriend..no girlfriends who are content with being alone.. I respect her for taking a leader role on the show because she does bring a lot to the table, it’s just a risk that she involves herself too much. I also know it’s difficult to find balance in a new marriage and also with new people around, so I am not mad at her for acting a certain way. I get it’s difficult.
