Gunther Werks is a restomod company from California, it differs from the other popular Porsche restomod brands in that it only mods 993's, for now. Not a big fan of restomod🥲 Luckily there are many 993 around, otherwise it’s sad they are converted permanently.

Great review. First time i find you in RU-vid. Well done! Being in Cal and familiar with restomods, personally i find the Gunterwerk aesthetic of extreme width awkward. The external proportions around the front fender and headlights are not well resolved. We all know that Singer has incredible proportions, but it’s driving dynamics fall quite a bit short of todays Touring or 997 3RS. Gunterwerk wide front wheels all but removes the well known roadfeel of Porsche’s steering wheel. For a racecar this level of front width works but for a street car it tramlines and numbs the steering feel. However, that motor delivers the goods in both sound and punch! Keep the revies coming 👍
