It was a pleasure to have you do a tour of the tanks. Once the garage is up and running you will have to come back and maybe setup a tank together. Its a difficult skill to learn when making videos with people you havent worked with before. To the comments saying he was talking over me or interupting me it honestly didnt feel like that in the moment. We just hung out, talked anout fish and generally geeked out for a few hours.
Yep definitely, that will be cool! And yeah indeed, it’s definitely different filming a video with someone else, when normally I would do it on my own! However for next time it will be even better as all these tips I will take on board! But most importantly, we had a great time together and that’s all that matters really!
Wow! So happy this came up as a suggested video! Didn't hesitate to subscribe & I'll be watching your older stuff later. I really enjoyed seeing FSM's tanks from a different view and I'm always learning something new! Thank you! Oh and with having little kids I'm afraid I'd have to name that feisty little beta Mushu By the way you handled the nasty comment below with such class, I'm super impressed. SMH, some people are too uptight and I'm probably too laid back. It's likely I would have recommended that they increase their daily dose of fiber 😂
Thank you! I really appreciate comments like these, as it gives me more motivation to keep doing what I do! Mushu sounds like a fun name haha. Hope you enjoy my other videos! Have a great day!
Great stuff & Matt is very knowledgeable. A little advice, hope you won't take it the wrong way, but please let your interviewees speak, no need to echo everything they say. Great vid otherwise, subbed. 👍
Thank you! Yep I know lol, many have said and I even noticed it myself while editing! But tip has been taken onboard and next time it will be better! Appreciate it! Have a great day!
@@jtkeepingfish It's impossible to get everything right from the start, it's the sort of thing that comes with experience. You are off to a good start already & I look forward to your future content.
Hi, yeah sorry for that! I noticed it aswell while editing the video. I guess in real life I don’t really notice it, but forget that I’m wearing a mic that picks up everything that I say lol
@Aquamaxaqua was gonna say the same thing like how come he never let's matt finish a sentence without cutting him short n copying lol I'm sure he had no idea he was doing it atm but it's a good learning experience for his next interview to learn how to not do it so much lol
@@buddkhang2183 Yeah for sure, indeed in the moment I had no clue I was doing it really, but then while editing I did also notice myself, so definitely good to learn for next time!
04:30 I dunno how anyone has amano shrimp AND fish, of any size. Not even predatory fish towards the shrimp. My amanos were legit never seen again, and all I had were neon tetras & panda cories. The amano shrimp were beyond shy. Reclusive is more like it. Antisocial. 🤣 Probably only came out when it was dark. If that. Just from my own experience, I thought I’d try amanos after keeping cherries & ghost shrimp for so long-two species which we know are always out & about and constantly foraging (or even resting on a big _Anubias_ leaf, or on an Amazon sword, but very much something obvious-not hiding!). I put those amanos in & maybe saw them once or twice again after that. Even later, when disassembling the tank, never found them again. Sucks because, at the time, they were def in the $10 range. Which is a lot to pay for a shrimp that has anxiety.
Wow that’s kinda crazy tho, I’ve never really had issues with Amanos not showing up, since they are a big type of shrimp and should be fine with other small fish at least!
Just some feedback, and not meant in a bad way, but I'd recommend that you try not to talk at the same time / interupt the person you are interviewing. I know it can be hard, and it's an exciting topic, but a good interview is allowing the person you ard interviewing space to talk. Really enjoyed the tour. Thanks for sharing.
Yep, many people said the same! And I also noticed while editing to be honest. Only in the moment not so much lol. But I've definitely learned from this experience so next time I do an interview style video I will know how to do it better! Thank you, appreciate it! Have a good day!
Hey JT Keeping Fish. You might want your guest to finish his sentence. Alot of Ya Yas and yeeps. Seems like you dont care what the guest has to say. Good luck
Hi, yeah I’m sorry for that. I do realise indeed. However when we were in the moment it just felt like a normal conversation, which on camera can come across different for sure!
Understand. I get that you are trying to ask a million questions and u have so much time. Just slow down a little. Enjoy your knowledge. I'll be watching
Not to be rife but, someone needs to teach this kid some manners. I couldn't even waybill the whole video. Literally every time Matt is talking the kid CONSTANTLY INTERRUPTS HIM. I mean it's non stop, did your parents not teach this kid to not say everything outloudv that comes into his mind, especially when someone else is talking!!! Worst part is going to someone else's home and then allowing you to INTERRUPT then but never even let them finish a sentence. And on top of all that the kid isn't even saying anything of Substance. just weirdly keeps repeating what Matt says ... maybe I'm the word one but one of my biggest pepeeves is folks who got no sense and think it's OK for them to just speak over you awhenever they feel like it but even worst when they don't have antingof substance to add to the convo rambing on and on like they are more importan what they have to say is more important than you, andthey are more important than you and&never shut up!
Hi there, I’m sorry that it came across like that. Was definitely not my intention, however I do agree with you on some points. Since I myself also noticed during editing this video and found it a little annoying. However I can’t change things that have been done, but can only improve in the future. So I thank you for your critics. I do also invite you to check out some of my other videos, since there you might see a different side of me. Have a great day!
TexasAndy, I think you’re being incredibly rude, yourself! I would say he’s a little nervous. With practice we get better, it’s good for people to be patient and help us along the way.
