that unpaid officer has such an strong accent. It blows my mind how an immigrant has the nerve to volunteer as a fake cop and enforce non-existant laws... where does this person get off?
She made a mistake that she is paying very dearly for. How would you feel in her shoes, your name, face, accent, vilified by baying mob of thousands? She didn't murder anyone. I'm coming to the conclusion that Britain is an evil place. No wonder, though as everyone here is pretending to defend Christian singing when in fact you abandoned God long time ago, hardly anyone turns up in church on Sunday. These comments like yours are the result.
Lol shes from Bulgaria apparently where this is a law but it's not here in UK. I support this young lady 100% Pls sing away the Gospel. This young lady is brilliant 👍
@@kathrynimhoff344 My guess is that it's probably easier to make them disregard morality and obey superior's orders against english than if they were born in England.. If foreign they don't give a toss about rights.
So people are allowed to destroy ears with songs about hate and violence, but when somebody, from any religion, sings a song about praying and finding their own inner peace down a PUBLIC street, not a bar, a street, that’s disrespectful, HOW? I’m proud of this girl, because she’s not disrespectful or calling her names, but she’s standing up for herself, anyone deserves respect.
People who sing songs about violence, terror, horror, hell etc are generally some of the nicest people you will ever meet. When was the last time there was a war in the name of heavy metal or punk? Or when did metal or punk bands try telling you how to live your life or who to hate? This country is now mostly athiest, we have abandoned religion so maybe it's time we could go in to the city center and not have anyone try to convert us to any religion.
A mistake is one thing but the manner in which this lady spoke and stuck out her tongue was totally unprofessional and offensive. She shouldn't be working for the police and I think she should be dismissed. But I'm more concerned they allowed her to pass the vetting process, and that people working for the police are no longer being given appropriate training.
To sort out the policing in this country will be harder than eating a concrete sandwich. The courts need sorting too, our judges are a bunch of Nancy's.
depends if somebody complains, buskers can also get moved on,whether she was singin gospel songs is irrelevant, also obstruction of the pavement is also an offence.
The police woman probably joined as a volunteer in order to boss people around according to her prejudices and with the authority of a uniform. She should be stripped of that uniform and dismissed in disgrace.
I dont quite understand your point. Perhaps your saying the police need more. Woke officers was a mistake on yur part.. This Bulgarian PCSO is part of a quota. She is an immigrant. She is feamale-ish she is displaying a Woke attitude.
By her name and her accent, this Special Constable is not indigenous British ! By her actions, she is unfit to hold the office of Constable and should be dismissed. The most significant point, however, is : how was this person appointed to the office of Constable in the first place ?
The police are getting more and more cowardly and corrupt by the day. This policewoman was acting on her own prejudices.. I am an atheist but absolutely agree that this young woman has a right to sing gospel songs if she wants.
I agree with that one hundred percent. It was that woman’s (I won’t even show her the courtesy of describing her as a police officer) own opinion NOT the law of the land. There was a similar thing happened to a gentleman playing the piano entertaining shoppers and a group of Chinese people told him to stop videoing them. They made a point of going up the gentleman and said he could not video his performance because they were there. He is a RU-vidr what the heck do they think he should do, audio tape it! Who the hell do these people think they are. Someone needs to tell them we live in a free country with free speech and filming or singing outside in OUR country is NOT against any of OUR laws. If they didn’t want to be filmed they could have move out of view of the camera. The police were involved there also and should have politely explained to these people that it was not a law issue in the UK instead of trying to pacify them, they should have been charged with wasting police time. Are these people blind. There are surveillance cameras in all of the shops and private CCTV cameras on homes all over the place in our country. Should all of these be switched off until these entitled people are out of shot.
Albert Einstein once got angry with all the paparazzi ans stuck his tounge out: this face is now everywhere... if you want attention, just do likewise (but you are still not Einstein).
Not a bad person. 😂 She was threatening to take away property. Not in her remit. She went out of her way to stop someone singing in public and actually lied about not being able to do so. Then, ignorant sticking out of the tongue whilst two apparently trained officers stood by and Mr Mogg is ok with it. And we wander why we have an inept police force.
Stunned. Just listened to three adult males, play down the disguting behaviour of a paid officer of the Law. The individual is clearly a power tripping bully.
Patronising and silly, imo. If Rees-Mogg wants to play-down this gross infringement of British law, culture and tradition, then he is at fault. If we don't uphold British fairness we will lose it. We can't take up the attitude that incomers already know or understand the British cultures, the laws and rights, and very important traditions. These allow a mostly peaceful and civilised life; it's a small island with a big and diverse population and it has survived thousands of incomers. Let's keep it that way!
@@liberality Taliban may have done but these days there's a lot of their singing in public places. Especially in London. So I just wonder what the police lady would say if she came across them 🤔
I knew of a lady who joined the police volunteers, she was power mad. Asking or rather interrogating neighbours regarding car tax, questioning the local children who came to play with her children. I don't think she took the uniform off !
What makes you think it was in any way religious. Suppose she was singing a Beatles song and the Policewoman said the same thing ? Interesting she would have been correct then as someone does own the rights to the song, but a hymn is too old to be protected by copyright.
@@jjefferyworboys8138she wasn’t singing a Beatles song was she, she was singing Christian Hymns, and the officer’s whole attempt at silencing her was based in reference to the “church”.
@@jjefferyworboys8138sorry you are wrong. Anyone can sing a song by anyone whether copyright exists or not. The copyright laws apply only when they are playing the original recording owned by the copywriter holder, or trying to pass off someone else’s intellectual property as something you have written yourself. She was doing neither and if she was sing a Beatles song, she would have been breaking no law.
He was fearful of being accused of being sexist, he probably went through the same indoctrination as the police woman who was instructed to be intolerant of Christianity.
Get her out of uniform. And I wonder why the other male officer took no action to stop this wrong. Mr Rees Mogg I think your wrong to make excuses for her disgusting behaviour and treat this as a joke along with the Two guests making excuses.
What a wonderful graceful and creative young woman, Harmonie is, bringing light and illumination to a dark a despairing city … and an idiot police woman 🤦♂️
Do you live under a rock ? There is millions of people in this country whose first language is not English, including police officer, health professionals, teachers. You live in a diverse country, when are you going to accept it. Live and let live.
@@violetld2391: We wouldn't allow doctors, nurses; pharmacists, or gas installers to work in their field without them being competent. Why do you consider police officers should be any less competent? They should be trained in the laws in which they are expected to enforce, not make up laws of their own and try to enforce them. A moments thought would have convinced you of that.
@@GwladYrHaf I am a Christian. A Catholic, so very much aware about prejudice as Catholics were persecuted in England and there is still lots of bigotry about " the papists" around.
"She was trying to be helpful to the community". Seriously!? What I saw was an arrogant, rude, volunteer cop sticking her tongue out at the camera and enjoying her elevated status to 'make up rules'. And the political feels "very sorry" for her. Unbelievable!
So a flagrant injustice has been committed by someone in public authority and we mislabel it a boo boo. Where is our utter disgust. This so called officer serving our people and our way of life who obviously is opposed to our religion abuses her power and we simply let it slide? No wonder we are being overtaken from within. One day we will regret our weak responses.
Makes we want to power up my busking amp and get out on the streets to sing "Church songs" very loudly, with a big sign saying CHURCH SONGS BEING SUNG HERE.
The poligy from the police is inadequate. She should be contacted directly in the apology and a couple of specific steps of what the corrective measures will be instead a blanket statement.
Give some people a tiny bit of power and it goes to their heads. Also - how mature and sensible of the pseudo-copper to stick her tongue out at the camera. Gives one so much confidence in the police ...
Just before Christmas I went around parts of Mayfair singing, ‘I’ll raise a Hallelujah,’ to combat the dark evil vibes the place gave me; a few people gave me Trang’s looks, but it is Gods earth and he loves us to sing his praises.
Harmonie is one of the best singers I have ever heard, so should be allowed to sing her gospel songs daily. I have seen how moved people who listen to Harmonie are and I'm quite sure that she really helps them in their lives. I believe that her voice is a truly God given gift 🙏❤️💕
I’ve heard her sing on RU-vid. She’s absolutely brilliant and has the voice of an angel. She’s touched so many people and made their day. Why would the police in the uk waste time bullying her while crime runs rampant elsewhere. Bless her heart and may god protect her ❤
The panel is a lot more forgiving than I would be, anyone can make a mistake, but being rude, domineering and frankly gross, is not the behaviour one should expect, she's a disgrace!
Hopefully, good things will come out of this unfortunate incident for Harmonie, thanks to GB news for having her on their show and this sensible discussion of what transpired.
No, it's a Christian country with, unfortunately, an ever increasing number of non-Christian and secular inhabitants not to mention the Islamists!!@@martynblackburn9632
She was not a police officer, she was a Police Community Support Officer, and a very poorly trained example at that, with personality disorders. The real police officers ought to have intervened and taken control of this, rather than being idle observers, shame on them.
I’m actually wondering if this is a prank by those police officers with her…told her she should do this and then stood back and let her hang herself???
IF you are a single individual, male or female, standing outside an abortion clinic, SILENTLY praying, you will be arrested and taken away. IF you are a man, holding a Bible in a public place, and you have not yet made any kind of sound, you will be arrested and taken away. HOWEVER, if you are a Muslim, you may congretate by the thousands, in public places and proclaim your faith by loud prayer and various actions - such as kneeling on the streets, with your posterior raised to heaven, nothing will happen to you. I do wonder why that is so?
Nothing wrong with spreading the gospel and earning a few quid in the process. The bible says the ( love ) of money is the root of all evil not money in of itself 👍🏻
The Met's apology is worth nothing unless they back it up by sacking this woman. I'd like her to be named and shamed. Apparently this went on for over half an hour and she threatened to confiscate Harmonie's equipment.
