He gets inducted into the Hall of Fame and what does he do? He praises everybody around him except himself. What a man. Legendary.

The level of respect I have for khabib is crazy. I didn’t even really like him as a fighter. Found his grappling style kinda boring but in terms of dominance I doubt he will ever be beaten. After retirement he’s stayed in the game and is using his experience to create new champions. Proper legend

As always, Khabib's an exemplar of humility & honesty. Great interview & kudos to the interviewer. Really glad he addressed the topic of Charles Oliveira, explaining how the MMA media is constantly attempting to create an artificial animosity between himself/his team & him (Oliveira), when no such enmity actually exists. In fact, he goes on to commend Oliveira for the very achievement of becoming a UFC champ, particularly mentioning how he did this whilst hailing from some of the most impoverished lodgings imaginable. Even goes on to further express his admiration for Charles constantly coming back from adversity. It's just seemed so odd to me that a ~small but vocal minority of Oliveira fans intertwine their praise for him with slanderous malign against Khabib/his team, as if praising the two can't co-exist?? That lack of sportsmanship is specifically what Khabib & Charles are both against. I'm sure these guys would be absolute bros if they had more opportunities meet. Lots of mutual respect, that's for sure.

Never once seen him wearing luxury clothes or driving expensive cars/jet/yacht or him brag about how much money he has even though being a owner of a fighting organization. Instead he spend the money on his people and take care of his village, i even remember his first trip after beating Conor was to help people in Nigeria by building wells to have access to clean water compared to Adesanya flexing his belt when it doesn't bring any benefit to his own people in Nigeria. Very humble and down to earth man.
