I loved his return in Season 9. Matt Letscher is the best Reverse-Flash on the show. Sure, I like Tom Cavanagh. But his Reverse-Flash got too repetitive, I was hoping he would become a nicer over time. But we know how it ends. Matt gave us this redemption in Season 8, and his Reverse-Flash got killed by Tom's. But anyway, thank Matt Letscher for me. And I wish him good luck in his acting career. And to you too, good luck in continuing your channel and gaining even more success than it already has.
It was a good ending it made sense for reverse flash bc he couldn't just walk away and make amends with barry bc it's all a loop and his last scene is where his first scene started basically
Matt is so underrated. I live both Tom and Matt, but they’re literally playing the same role, so matt should be much more appreciated. Love them both so much! Great interview with Matt 🥰
@@maybetoby I also liked his Time Remnant Thawne. Time remnant/LOT thawne is roughly 14/15 years younger than tom’s thawne with the same memories as him. Man it’s complicated but either or they both did a great job
I love Tom as RF but to me the one will always be Matt. From the beginning until this amazing episode we get last week, he is the RF. And I believe it is indeed the last time we saw him on the show coz it was the final of that circle between Barry and Thawne. It's a final conclusion to this fight. Barry found finally peace in all that terrible night, this is a victory and probably the best because he get to thanks Thawne, what a bigger frustration for a vilain ? And all this years, I was like "I know Matt will be back, the RF always come back no matter how many times he died", but we get Tom for a very very long time. And now we get the chance to finally have a very good ending with Matt as RF, to conclude how this start with how it end. For the first time in nine years and it feel strange to me but I've got the feeling it was really the last time we saw Matt. Thank you for that, it said a lot about the performance of an actor even with few appearance, he have that charismatic Vibe to be one of the best vilain. And the last one to me with the same intensity was Heath Ledger as the Joker. 🙏
Sorry, but this interview was kind of pointless. Matt hasn't spent enough time as the character or even had an interest in the comic story line to truly speak on it from his point of view. You can tell just by how vague his answers are and him not giving any interesting details that would portray Eobard Thawne in his own interpretation. We see Matt and think "Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash" but Matt is an actor who is in many other medias and sees this as just another job. Although I wish we saw more of Matt on the show cus he's a great actor for the villain role, he's simply doing a job and moving on to the next.
What else you want? Cavanaugh is moving on to host a gameshow. At least Matt could act and hasn't debased himself thru nine seasons of total crap like cavanaugh.
@@desertdweller9548 Seriously? Tom was great as Wells Thawne with more exposure and experience on the show. Tom practically carried season one then into two and for each time he played Eobard so he would/should have more insight into the character of Reverse Flash. The show went downhill from a change in showrunner and shit writing, it’s not the casts’ fault. That’s why Tom left the show as a regular and only guest starred when needed. He along with Grant made the show great. My point is, Matt’s not into Eobard the way fans are.
@@desertdweller9548 Debatable. Tom and Matt are both great actors and played Eobard Thawne perfectly in their own way. Fact is, Tom has more experience with the characters to speak about it outside of the show in interviews.
