That was not what k1 said. Even Wasiu did not know the difference between Were and Fuji. He said Were turned to Fuji during Alhaji's time. This interview is explicit.

Your K1 is contradicting himself, go and listen to his first album where he eulogised SAB as the Fuji creator, then he has no name and was calling himself Barrister, but now that he has name, he’s saying Barrister didn’t create Fuji.

Abraham Oladejo , in as much one can't say who actually created Sakara and apala we met haruna, yussuf olatunji, etc playing, so it will be very hard to say of who created Fuji particular ly. But one thing is clear, it's sources was from Lagos islands

When Sikiru Ayinde said he created fuji music nobody said anything when he was alive, Now that is no more people nowstarted saying another thing

So you didn't hear when he said he borrowed the name from a mountain in Japan and turned were to Fuji? What is Fuji in Yoruba, is Fuji Yoruba? Don't take advantage of the fact that he inter used music and Fuji just once in this interview when he said they were singing a type of Fuji instead of a type of music. There is not way people will sing a genre before it's named, common sense

How do you define fuji music or then and now or difference between his "fuji" then and the one that was being played then. Don't get me wrong, I love him but I find it sickening how they try to airbrush Kollington out of history. Let's even assume he started Fuji, Kollington actually help make Fuji what it is. The two reasons why he called his music Fuji music is because of two reasons 1. Because of fading away of 50s Fuji and 2. Because of mountain in Hongkong called Mountain of love made him remained his owen music as Fuji music. So what are we talking about is very clear that Fuji music have been existing in Lagos Island before Barrister he said he remain his owen Fuji as Fuji music. This made it clear that K1 was right with his explanation but Nigerians does like to listen to bitter truth.

Did you actually understand his analysis? He said their kind of Fuji was not the real Fuji of today. Those people he mentioned that K1 equally mentioned have come out to say they were never Fuji creators. Sakara is so much like Fuji but there is distinction between the two. Alhaji said emphatically Fuji Music was created in 1966.

@@Bjcrypto545 No, Wasiu did not, if you listened carefully, Barry said there was a music being played then that was called fuji music but different from his own kind of music, under which Wasiu falls. Wasiu trained under barrister and even used barry's name to release album and establish himself for so long. Now, the controversy is does Wasiu supposed to acknowledge the kind of fuji say music and the mentorship that produced him, or the one(fuji) that faded off that barry was talking about. Here, barry acknowledged there was a faded fuji name but wasiu did not talk about how barry fashioned out fuji music from weree, mordernised it and renamed it for the global acceptability we all know today. IT IS SIMPLE BREAKDOWN AND I AM OF THE OPINION THAT WASIU MESSED UP ON BARRY'S LEGACY. For your information, everyone living that wasiu used as a reference have come to say wasiu goofed. Thank God for him(Wasiu), he is retracing his steps. please, go and listen to him now, you will know, no need to fight ourselves over this.

Because of faded Fuji music that was songs by those people he mentioned and became of a place called Fuji in Hongkong mountain of love. all this argument is that for the fact that some people have sing fade music called Fuji and he come with his own Fuji that don't make him create Fuji. Fuji Music has been in existence and played before late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister with due Respect modernize it. why is that uneducated people proved their ignorance in Fuji Music bcos uneducated people had been listened to Fuji Music before if not for K1 that change the perspective. our problems with some people is that they know different between originator, creator and modernization, this three words confused uneducated people amongs Yorubas and you are among of them.

If Barry established the present Fuji Music then which one was the old Fuji Music? E maa tan ara yin. Continuing twisting the truth when Sikiru Ayinde clearly mentioned it that the Fuji Music has been played before and he borrowed the name Fuji from two sides. We just hate listening to the truth!

The fault is from the late alhaji agba himself to me all he said himself shows me he's a confustionnist. if I may say, very sorry but truth is bitter.

Being calling Barrister Fuji Creator in his old album was just to give the honor because Barrister and Kolinton was fighting then. 2. In this short interview does name Barrister mentioned was among the Names wasiu mention too , Ex-Saka, Abinuwaye, Jolly Lawal etc Barrister and he said does names have sort a music called Fuji in the early 50s that in the 60s he was thinking about was to called his music and he remember that there's a faded music that was called Fuji in the past, also because of a place in Hong Kong called Fuji that is mountain of love base on that two reasons make him named his music Fuji. He even said that was the reason why he renamed his music as Fuji in this short interview you can listen to it carefully. My Owen point is that you can't create something that been exist before in the 50s either is fade or expire, you can only rebrand it or rename it

Because his statement is not consistency. Go and listening to one interview that Kolinton did in Ibadan he said it that Barrister like something that is called Extraduration.
