I’m not a Mets fan, but I enjoy watching the games and I highly respect Uncle Steve. I love the stars he’s pulled in. I love how he’s setting an example of how owners SHOULD run a baseball team. Ive been a Met fan since 1962...so U know there were years of suffering not having winning teams! But finally the clouds cleared & Steve Cohen emerged! This man has been a blessing to me & all Met fans since he arrived! Hes put his money where his mouth & promises have been. I certainly enjoy and appreciate his efforts! I have followed the team since 1966 when I was 7 and I think it’s about time we see a dynasty (to anyone who laughs? Don’t! I am dead serious)! The Yankees have had their share of dynasties for years! Why not the Mets? Best of luck to them in 2023 and beyond! Oh yes, 1969 made me a passionate sports fan even more and we want more 1969s (and of course, 1986s) for sure!

Who could ask for more in an owner? I don't know of any other owner who owns the team he grew up rooting for. He's a fan and an owner who wants to win it all as badly as the fanbase. In fact more, because he's also signing the checks. He literally Saved the Mets. We're building something special here, thanks to this man. He's involved in developing the area around Citi Field to generate some interest and bring business to the area. When I moved from NY in 2001 it was all salvage yards, body shops, etc. Some nice restaurants, clubs, places to shop etc, would really spruce up the area and generate interest and business. The Mets are in good hands with Mr. Cohen. LGM

I like that the Long Island Rail Road has a station there from Penn Station. I know there’s a metro north station at Yankee Stadium, but it doesn’t go to Penn Station. So I’d have to take the D train which would take about 50 minutes from Herald Square.

When I first learned that Virginia had closed...Tide Water if you will; and that AAA "Los Vegas" had opened, I was like "How does a Family from Colonie NY or New London CT visit The New York Mets Baseball Club's players? Now I had worked for the Oakland Athletics Eastern League AA affiliate. Later, I worked for George Steinbrenner. When The Yankees decided to move to Norwich CT; yes...Norwich CT has a casino. But a fan can play Blackjack and then after watching a game, travel on a casino bus and watch a Red Sox game at the Stadium. Or, watch a Yankee game at Fenway Park. Heck, a fan can watch a game in Pawtucket RI, and then see that player who had just been traded to The New York Mets hours later. You really cannot claim that in Los Vegas. That's what I refer to as "hollowed out." Kieth Hernandez was said that upon learning up in Montreal that Neil Allen's complete game 2 hit shut was all about their trade; he said "That was my worse day as a Professional Baseball player." The Mets were able to show Kieth Hernandez their farm system. Kieth was like "Once the dead wood is gone." Those words hit me. On a side note, I really enjoyed my time working for 2 Major League Baseball Club's. I got to meet Steve Phillips in both Florida as well as Binghamton NY. And yes. I did sing "Meet The Mets in George Steinbrenner's Tampa Florida Hotel's Bar. Mr.. Steinbrenner actually came out from his office. The Big Clipper. And we laughed. He said "A Paratrooper has earned the right to sing in my Hotel."

Love pretty much everything about the Steve Cohen ownership! Thanks for being one of the good guys. I have been thinking over and over again about the potential of The Mets retiring David Wrights #5, and although I am absolutely on board with that, I sincerely think “if” The Mets do this, that it would serve correctly to “Co-Retire #5” as David Wright and Davey Johnson. As much as DW meant to us fans throughout his career, Davey Johnson meant just as much if not even more during his reign as Mets Skipper! Still 30 plus years after the fact, he is still The Mets winningest manager. Just my thoughts!

A major piece of the fan experience puzzle is ticket prices. Let's make going to a game affordable. Many of us want to go to more than just a game or two. To have to drop $400 plus for a family of 4 for decent seats is tough for middle-income Mets fans.

Tickets start at $18 and lower level seats as low as around $40.

@@turkwendell6904 Opening Day, the minimum ticket price right now is $144. That's for upper deck along the LF line. Saturday's game is $37.50 for the same seating. Anything field level is $200 plus. Citi Field caters to the rich.

Much love to Steve Cohen. As far as the scoreboard goes, I would rather Steven Cohen build city buildings for us fans to sit in instead of a scoreboard. Maybe color those buildings orange and blue. As far as baseball player's go, Steven Cohen and Billy needs to invest in the correct baseball player's who actually would like to play for our New York Mets organization first and foremost as well as stay on the field. We do not want baseball player's who just want to come here just for the money play a few games and never show up again. We need at least 2 more power hitters who are worth investing as I had mentioned before as well as 2 more starting pitcher's and one more reliable bullpen arm. Let's go Steven Cohen, you are 2 years in as owner now and yes as fans are thankful as well as greatfull for you but it is time for ACTIONS to speak louder then your words now.
