The Clip 3 is 3 watts and the Clip 4 is 5 watts, micros USB vs Type C. I have the latest and it sounds loud, crisp clear and has bass. Sounds great playing them 80s hits at work. Plus the 7 to 8 hrs at full blast gets you through work easy and worth it. About 13 hrs on mid volume and its way more sturdy and more heavy duty and yes it blows the Clip 3 out of hells pit!

this better blow the clip 3 out the water if its going to be double the price cause the clip 3 already sounds great..one thing i do like tho is the sturdy clip cause the the one on the clip 3 was very flimsy and broke after a few drops.
i am a bit late. Since you posted this 3 years ago. And i am a bit old, because i was taught to be careful with expensive equipment. And i am a bit Dutch, so english is not my first language, hence the many mistakes And so, i was just wondering: Why would you want to drop something like this? And sure, i follow you. It was not intentional, it was by accident. But my mother always told me: Life is like a ..... O, wait, that was another guy's mother. My mother told me: If it breaks, you are gonna have to pay for it, and buy yourself a new one. And that made sure that i would not drop the new device i got. Like a Tamagotchi i would hug it, brush it, dust it, feed it (by hanging it on its cable to it could get a new charge) Anyways, i wonder how it is possible that in 1, maybe 2 generations, people have decided to drop stuff like this and expect to still have a fully functioning device. In my opinion it is ridiculous to think that once you have dropped a device like this it should still work. Way too sensitive stuff. You would not drop a million dollar Rolex, would you? Perhaps this is too cheap, and therefor many people don't care if they drop it. But in my opinion it shows how we are going backwards in evolution. From Primates to Homo Sapiens. Able to think. And now we are going back to primates. Trying to knock sense into a stone. Or making loud sounds. Or bashing each other's heads in over a piece of land.
I have a JBL clip 3. It fell and the face popped off. How do you get it to stay put? It’s on, but once I clip it to the bike, if I hit a bump, it’ll come flying off.
It really confuses me ... what idiot ended up purchasing JBL and is now building cheap crap and charging premium prices for these obviously penny pinched products!?!? This speaker doesn't cost no more than 5dollars to build maybe even less and they're asking for 79.00 dollars? For 79 dollars I can build my own speaker with 35ah battery and proper amplifier and subwoofer...
Я сравнил оба и взял клип 4. Разницы в деньгах уже нет. И басс стал более сбалансированный. Один косяк это кнопки включения и блютуз, вот какой инвалид их поставил сбоку и ещё на кратковременное нажатие. Кнопки должны быть на 0,3-0,5 с что бы при ходьбе не выключалась на ходу.

mate jbl clip 3 is also a mono speaker and also there is no way to put stereo on this small form factor and even if you manage to put two woofers inside the clip series you would have to put the speaker up to your face to even hear the stereo plus clip 4 has the woofer in the middle unlike clip 3 which has it off-centered
@@Gerandom8489 i Said go 3 Will sound better generally speaking so bass, It Will be probably loud as the clip 4 and It Will be Clearer...and the cost of the clip 4 Is 60 euros or dollars....and go 3 like 40 euros and dollars.....what's the point of buying a clip 4 ?
