I went to Marko's gig and it was a really great show. I think the whole concept suits him and the band well. Can't wait for the next album.

The last time i saw Marko was in the interview when he let us know that he leave Nightwish and explained his reasons... i remember my heart becomed black and i cryed also, but most of all i remember the sadness in the voice of Marko and the sadness in his eyes, so, now, i am really so very VERY happy to see him so full of joy and good energy, i see happiness in his eyes and this filles my heart!!!!! This is most wonderful thing to see him happy, because this make me happy too, and also i am so happy he return to sing, i adoooore his voice, his talent, his music, i adore him, i loooooove Marko♥♥♥

Yeah, that's what I thought about the special show with Tarja.. The promoters kind of threw them under the bus with this one...making fans think that it was a joint show when it is not. Tarja will be promoting her best off album and Marko his new solo. However, they are now between a rock and a hard place because the festival will sell out, and they will feel kind of "obliged" to play something together for the fans sake... what a situation.. Honestly, something outside of Nightwish's realm would be a good slap in the face of the organizers. Like many old fans, I would love to see them singing something like BOTB together but not if they don't feel like it. Silent Masquerade or Medusa would be a great choice, or maybe even a Finnish folk song. Why not? Good to see Marko again. Need to buy his new album.

But of course Marco and Tarja playing same festivals... people would totally flip if they would perform together: it's a jackpot if you happen to be there. So much value!

I've listened Marco a lot. He never sucked. Maybe he did better another time, but Marco has so good touch (great skill) and so much experience, he doesn't lose the ball easy.

Marco always pulls an audience. I'm listening Tarot's albums in my car currently, and love them. Bautiful, kick-ass and Marko's vocals are just awesome.

Thank you for posting this interview. And thank you both for speaking English (so I could understand you). I am a huge fan of Nightwish (NW), and every NW fan knows Marko will forever be missed. That's not a knock on anyone else, it's simply a nod to Marko's great talent. He seems to be a reasonably happy guy, and it appears his troubles with mental health issues are being handled well. I'm glad to see it. 👍 What I would really like to know is how he describes his current relationship with the members of NW. Break-ups generally suck, and this one was a bit of a shock. But I really hope these people are not all mad at each other. There are fans all over the world that would love to see Marko and NW reunite in one capacity or another. Marko and Floor singing together are an on-stage blockbuster. There's simply no denying it.

Hello Marco!!! Fans in Serbia can't wait for new hits, and it would be good if you write rock history again with Taria. I'm sure the new album will dissipate the magic of your riffs that drive us, although I think the magic comes from the number 66 because I was born in 1966 too.

When Marco left Nightwish and left the public eye for a while I was so sad I was like I will NEVER hear his voice again maybe? BUT that made me binge listen to all the Tarot stuff and honestly I listen more to Tarot than Nightwish now and I would love to see them live and PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD make a reissue of Suffer our pleasures and For the Glory of nothing 😭😭😭

God, I love this man. He tries to watch his words but his expressions are gold. He is so talented and yet humble. I miss him like crazy in Nightwish. I went again to Nighwish this year, it was more than awesome ofcourse....but I miss Marko's charisma, bassplaying and his beautiful but also wicked voice. Marko, get your family and dog in he car and just drive...I drive to Portugal every year from Holland, tents on the roof and doggies in the back. Europe is so beautiful. Hairy weirdo's need some freedom. :D You look great and relaxed.

I don't know much about Marko as a person even though I love Nightwish and always have, but I love the way he speaks, his train of thoughts and his face expressions, it seems to me like he clearly has ADHD, you know: it takes one to know one, because this is exactly the way I speak 😂 And I just love to see other ADHD people being their natural selves in full glory 😁

You should never withdraw into yourself. No matter how difficult it is. The Creator is always a person who brings something new to this world. You always need to overcome your doubts and fears and go forward with your FIST RAISED HIGH! And I am sincerely glad that you, Marko, were able to cope with the most terrible demon - YOURSELF (because the thoughts of the person himself are monstrous). I am sincerely glad that you are a strong-minded person and KEEP GOING. You're doing great.

I think Marlo was involved in Tarja’s ousting from Nightwish, so I don’t think that she would want to be on stage or even off stage with him. Maybe they’ll be polite to each other and act professional, but they won’t interact much and they won’t play together. It’s obvious that the whole thing annoys him , not necessarily because of Tarja herself but because he has to respond to this expectation and pressure.

Though I wish Marko the best, and glad to hear from him, I am a bit saddened to hear that he is evidently moving to Spain?? Because though he didn't say it outright, I think Marko is 100% done with Nightwish. He made no mention of reuniting with Tuomas and the crew, and he mentioned the musicians he is going to be putting an album out with more than anyone. Even on the Tarja info, he mentioned a possibility, but nothing definite -- which, you would think, that if Marko had any plans to get back with Nightwish, he would have mentioned, let alone moving to the literal opposite side of Europe and Nightwish. Ah, well...as Floor has said many times: "All good things come to an end."
