1:15 Tuomas: "Yay!" That was touching. He was so genuinely excited that someone GOT IT without him having to explain anything. Unlike something like the song Nemo where he's clearly tired of telling people that, NO, it's not about that damn fish from the Pixar cartoon, or Captain Nemo from the Jules Verne story.
Can some one give the interviewer a medal or something. Be it Nightwish, an athlete or actor they have to answer the obvious repetitive questions all the time, she did handle the interview completely differently
This is probably the most joyful interview with Tuomas I have ever seen. He seemed to be very relaxed, and it's the interviewer's job to make that happen. Really, really, really well done!
I know you will be so amazed and shocked to get a text from me but trust me it's nothing to me... I'm having a good time and that's why i replied you, thanks for your support and kind words. I will like to keep in touch with you.

Wow, thank you so very much for your awesome comments!!! I have to say it was my first interview and I was so excited (and nervous) to be meeting Tuomas! Your beautiful comments mean the world to me! A million thank yous! ❤️🦉
You did great and like Tuomas says...he loves technology but more he loves human and nature...and a real person to interview instead of machines. I think you manage to get him relaxed and open himself well.
What a fantastic interview. The interviewer was on point and asked interesting and informative questions. Love it! The only negative is the obnoxious guy taking the photos. Props to both of them for ignoring him.
I like how she gave him a lot of space, and the body language was very inviting for a good conversation, really well done! Felt like Tuomas opened up a bit more as well, was interesting to see
Finally a normal interview and great questions you can see even Thoumas is suprised, but the noise god damn camerman dude can you just sit and not move..
Lovely interview but the noises from the background are very irritating and loud. It distract you from the interview itself. You asked great questions. Thank you!😀
Dear GoetiaMedia, Get rid of whoever the rude jerk(s) is/are making noise in the background. Eva's respect to Tuomas is undermined by the disrespect shown off camera.
I was wearing good headphones and i didn't notice this... I went back to half way through the video after seeing this comment and suddenly it's like an ASMR video!
Love Toumas! The man is a genius Very open in this interview, on others you can see he is just waiting for them to ask him something stupid 😂 Amazing album too! ❤️
omg thanks for mentioning the game of thrones similarities I've been wanting to know what they think of it and whether its purely coincidental or not hahaha
The interviewer had some very thoughtful questions and we can see that Tuomas appreciated them. It's a pity that a good interview was dragged down by the person behind the camera. I've been a sem-pro and I've worked with pros in photojournalism. We may have been competitors, but we respected each other and if someone transgressed, shit happened. No one steps into the shot. If a pro was behind the camera, those bozos who intruded into the shot would've been intercepted before they got there. That amateur snapping shots would've been told to wait. A pro photographer would have stayed out of the shot, would never have the camera beeping turned on and would have shot with an electronic shutter to silence the camera. All that background breathing and clatter would never happen. There was zero respect being demonstrated here and the videographer had no balls. Don't get me started on the zoom fiddling and the bad framing. Eva Stokes did a great job and should have had the support of a pro behind the camera.
I wish someone asked what Tuomas thinks about Floor in Beste Zangers perfomances. I know he knows she is amazing, one of the best... but I d love to know if he was aware she is so crazy capable btw... good interview, one of the best one, most of them is terrible, like people has no idea what to ask. so good job
i don't know who is off camera, or what they are doing, (all the ripping sounds) they need to settle their simple selves down and be quiet while recording is going on. great questions and great insights shared by Tuomas.
Great job Eva! The mastermind himself. Tuomas, just a thought about the next one. Humankind's need for spirituality and something bigger and grander than ourselves? This could encompass many diverse ideas and maybe bring some international vibes and rhythms to the music. Just a thought.
When i look and see Tuomas with this a little bit shy Interviewer.wow But ,who destroy the room in the Background hihi😂 ah, Tuomas thank you now i am shure, about yours, Floors and Troys in the Nature part🥰
People want to hate on the background noise a lot. Get over it people; this is a RU-vid channel and not a professional mainstream interview crew. I do wonder, however, why there was a photoshoot going on. That was kind of weird and annoying.
I wasn't going to say anything, because several people have mentioned it already but when I saw at 5:55 a person with a phone stand up and make a horrible metallic noise I had enough. This was truly a wonderful interview and it's an absolute shame that you spoiled it with all the noise and the breathing. It is INCREDIBLY annoying for the viewer and disrespectful to the artist. Please avoid that in the future.
Amazing interview and interviewer but absolutely terrible camera man. What the hell is he doing walking around, scuffling and taking pictures in the shot? Fire that guy and get someone new, come on.
Fucking hell - this has to be the most unprofessional camerman in the history of interviews. I'm amazed Tuomas doesnt call it off. Sounds like this camera guy is unpacking his lunch for the entire interview. Please punch him in the face from me/everyone. Other than that, great interview. Ty.
Sorry but whoever is behind the camera is extremely noisy and rude. Far too distracted by it to watch the video. I always stay still when filming and try not to breathe too loud. This is a disgrace and disrespectful to Tuomas.
I wish I knew what this comment means, but I suspect no intelligent Nightwish fan could hope to understand whatever your point is. If you don't have valid constructive criticism to offer then it's best you say nothing at all.
Yes, he's getting old. It's how nature works. He definitely isn't dragging Floor or any of the others anywhere. They are their own people and make the choice to work with him, because unlike you, they have friends.
