Exactly. This guy's position is completely contradictory and changes from time to time. One day, he says govt should not give freebie or any programs that puts money in people's hand through programs like free bus which is used by bottom 50%. The next day he says bottom 50% should get money monthly. One day he says tax payers are angry govt should cut taxes, the other day he says tax payers should contribute money to people apart from paying tax. In essence he just says whatever will make him popular at that time.

@@Naa-e1t Drinking liquor has got nothing to do with development. Gujarat might have a vibrant economy but, Maharashtra contributes the most to the nation's GDP and tax pool. So no, I wouldn't support a govt riding to power on the promise of a liquor ban because these prohibitions don't work anywhere and many times, these people who ride to power on this ban end up running the shadow market where they sell liquor in black and loot the exchequer of valuable tax resources. Speaking of China and Singapore, they didn't become the economic giants in Asia through jingoism. China investment heavily in industries and scientific research. Singapore utilised its geographic advantage to attract FDI in its shipping and financial industry. Both of these countries spent a huge amount on developing quality human resources in their home. India is spending a lot to attract industries to set up shop and manufacture goods. But if you notice carefully, most of these foreign players are only setting up assembly plants in India. Hardly any quality R&D is done here. The govt itself isn't interested in boosting R&D in the country. It talks about it but it doesn't spend on it. You might want to quip back with,"Oh but Congress govt didn't do it either" or "Under BJP the percentage of contribution has gone up X% compared to 2013-14". But remember all of that means nothing of your scientific research is being laughed at by your international peers. So keep waiting for 15-20 years, nothing will change because all the quality minds are leaving the country for better opportunities and the present Indian Govt is actually trying to diminish or finish all together all intellectual discourse and debate.

If comes to power , will do kata kat Rs. one lac per poor family, but never clarified average how many will get this kata kat. One end congress claims that 80 cr poor in Bharat. Avg family count is say 4. Total eligible count is 20 cr per annum. At this rate the expense to govt wud be Rs 20 crores of lacs. Can u guess how is this amt? If govt takes full salary n gives 3 meals, person may not work once this is guaranteed. Y sud one put in hard work if every one gets same 3 meals? So any welfare or freebies sud hv time limit.
