Phil Mickelson chats with Troy Mullins on the driving range at Rich Harvest Farms and gives fans an exclusive look at how to hit drives like Lefty. Watch Live on www.livgolfplus.com/ and www.livgolf.com/
Phil could have a second career as a world class instructor. His short game instruction series is on another level too. Crazy to have such playing talent, as well as such a masterful skill at explaining and teaching.
Philip with tips on drivers consistently is ridiculously brave but the truth of this video is fake news. If your aunt had a penis and it would be your uncle
Love him or hate him, Phil’s smile and his simplicity of telling why and what to do is awesome. I happen to love the guy, he plays golf no matter the circumstance like we all think we could. Never settle for the easy shot. Only difference is, Phil hits most of those shots, as we never should have ever thought we could. Go LIV golf. 0:22
Phil is an excellent instructor! Many know the information, but are unable to communicate well. He is exactly right about the lumbar spine vulnerability with trying to kill the driver. I found out the hard way last year. Still recovering.
I liked Troy's humility listening to Phil's insights, considering that she was a long driver. She already knew a lot of what he was talking about. Troy is a good woman, I enjoy her commentary on the course also.
Troy is a damn beast when it comes to driving distance. Someone should ask her to do a video on leg exercises & workouts, no doubt that's where a lot of her power comes from.
To me, it looks really fake. Remember SHE is the student not Phil. Having RESPECT is expected. Phil is actually the one demonstrating being respectful when he doesn’t need to be.
*Wow, great interview both were in their element equally giving each other a chance to speak freely about golf porn to our community. Beautifully done.*
Associated with the lead leg straightening and the lead foot rotating to take pressure off of the lead knee, you put all that torsion, flexion and compression onto the lumbar spine. A recipe for back pain and injury. Look at those players with longevity and not so much length and see that the lead knee flexes towards a lead foot that is slightly turned toward target from the start. At impact, this puts pressure on the lead thigh which is better than the back at handling those forces.
Phil is just brilliant simple but he's tge greatest in my eyes for keeping keeping simple but speaks so much sense nad I've taken all his tips and how he plays the game on board and my god my game Haa come on do much thanks to this man. People listen to him he speaks sense
Have you personally examined every player’s calves on all the tours worldwide? Or were you just talking about the pga tour? I would love to hear how you fell into such a line of work-or was it more of a hobby?
The core training is so important. I had back surgery at 60 years old and the first time I played following surgery I was hitting the ball 280 when before it was more like 250. Now that I am no longer doing my core exercises I am back down to 250. Yeah stupid me should have continued to do my PT exercises.
Wow, this all makes so much sense. I’m 29 years old and a +1.3, played my whole life all the way through college. Lately I’ve been able to get back into golf and noticing my hamstrings, lower back and shoulders have been flaring up big time. Thanks for the tips on guarding injury in these areas Phil. Now I continue to rip BOMBS for decades haha
Timing the push off the front foot is where I am stumped. He says the lead leg push makes his hands drop in to the slot which seems to early to enage the brakes so to speak. I would have assumed the push comes after club is back to parrallel or already dropped. The push would ocurr after your lead knee and hips have recenterd while you in the slot position. Any comments?
OK first things first this guy plays golf for a living. It’s his job so he can dedicate 100% of his time and life to doing this also he’s an extremely talented, gifted human being. He is special you will never play golf like him or swing like him. And last doing this exact routine it’ll take you 2 to 3 years to gain 10 miles an hour of club at speed it takes time also, he is a lot fitter Then 99.9% of the men his age on earth
"Look hot, stare at Phil and make it seem like he just showed you how to make fire" -Advertisers. We're too easy, If you can train a dog, the advertisers can train us too.
Driving tips by Phil??? In his career, he finished INSIDE the top 100 in driving accuracy only 3 times and those three times, he was in the 70s and 80s. Not top 25. Phil can't find a fairway off the tee with a map.
