Tom Kennedy has brought so much television over the years his smiling face and charm his legacy continues on forever and this tribute to Tom was totally awesome so long to great Game Show Host all the game shows he has hosted in his career was done his honor and he would be so proud and now he has wings to fly and hang out his family and game show buddies but your smiles will be missed by the fans who watched you during the game shows that were hosted by you.
One thing about game show hosts, is that they have to feel so humble for being a part of changing contestant's lives. Due to that, game show hosts live long lives no matter what. Bob is going to be 97, Tom lived to be 93, I believe Peter Marshall is still with us, obviously Wink, Bob Eubanks is still here, Trebek turned 80 etc. Miss you Tom Kennedy/James Narz 1927-2020.
Yes Peter Marshall is still with us. I believe he's 92. There are exceptions to what you're saying for instance Peter Tomarken was 60 when he passed 😔 (R.I.P)
This would have been a great competitor to WIN, LOSE OR DRAW. I like this mixture of YOU DON'T SAY and BODY LANGUAGE; there was genuine excitement and energy throughout this game! Tom Kennedy was one of my favorite game show hosts ever and will be sorely missed.
To say the least Wink, the 1988 Star Play Game Show Pilot hosted by Tom Kennedy was for his own production company, and Carol Burnett for her Kalola Productions. And too bad this game show never made it to the syndication airwaves as it was never sold in the USA, even if then MCA owned WWOR-TV Channel 9 (Now my 9) in Secaucus, New Jersey bought the rights to air it locally in the New York City Market, as MCA TV (Now NBCUniversal Syndication Studios) distributed the game show exclusively. RIP Tom Kennedy 1927-2020.
This is a reunion made in Game Show Heaven...Tom Kennedy and Rod Roddy previously worked together on the syndicated nighttime 'Price Is Right' (early 1986) and the CBS game show 'Whew!' (1979-1980)!
It's ashame this show couldnt get off the ground. This is the most formidable Kennedy looked since at least his Password Plus days, if not before that.
Not true. Goodson produced Body Language, this was an original production from Tom & Carol. We have run thru videos of this dated 1988, Tom had wrapped Body Language by that time. Please don't post things like this that resemble fact if you don't know. Thank you!
Pretty good front game, although the difference in the number of clues ruins the competitive balance. Why wouldn't contestants try to solve the first clue first, the second clue second, etc.? The end game was hard to follow and just a bad idea.
