Jordan has always been a very special country. Jordanians are a progressive educated society. Christians in Jordan have a voice and political strength. It's great to see a country like Jordan with tolerance and respect for all.
Jordan is not tolerant at all. My dad is Jordanian and I've lived there for a few years. Maybe compared to neighboring Middle Eastern countries, but compared to the West it's still stuck in the dark ages. Christians in Jordan do face discrimination.

Absolutely not true, actually Quran itself made sure clear out that extremism is bad and there is a verse in history or Hadith that tells the story of how the prophet Mohammad PBUH told one of his close friends to put less time into praying to Allah because he was harming himself and consuming all his time. Its also mentioned that being a good person to others and to animals is more important than directly praying to Allah. I live in Jordan and I know exactly what they teach in mosques. They teach what te Quran and all the prophets of Allah said. Unlike the middle age Europe priests or sheikhs in this case cannot make up their own information and rulings because the reference is always the word of Allah or Quran, so in conclusion they don’t teach young boys anything extremist in mosques
