Oh, watching Catherine tear up about how he's shown her every day that he loves her made me tear up, too! THAT'S the dream, THAT'S what you hope for when you get engaged. I mean, how many times have you heard in a proposal, "If you'll let me, I'll spend the rest of my life showing you how much you mean to me." But that rarely seems to happen. I'm so glad that they're happy! :)

Yeah, it's all very nit-picky. Lots of couples have gotten married, but they word it in a specific way. Sean is the only one to marry the girl he PICKED on the bachelor, because Jason Mesnick married the girl who was the runner-up, so it wasn't who he originally picked. Chris & Desiree got married, but they met on the bachelorette vs the bachelor. Same with Ashley and JP and the girl on the first season whose name I can't remember. There are other couples, like Kaitlyn & Shawn, who are living together but aren't married. But if they word it JUST SO.... they can make it sound like he's the only successful one out there. :)

As a mom myself, U do need someone in your life that will say they will do it... My hubby has never said no to me once when I ask him to change his diaper and my own sisters have said no to me before for that.

I think the reason why the bachelorettes are more successful in getting married are the women are looking for marriage and partner in long term relationship, whereas the men are only looking for sex, and whatever happens, happens. Que sera sera, what will be will be.
I think because the men in the bachelorette are coming for one women and they are mostly old enough to get engaged . but the girls in the bachelor are very young and not ready for commitment.
