Thanks to much-loved shows like Ballykissnagel, Wild at Heart and DCI Banks Stephen Tompkinson is one of the most in demand actors in the UK. In the early hours of the 30th May 2021 Stephen feared he might never work again. He was accused of punching a drunk man who was making noise outside his home and charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm - a charge that could have seen faced with a lengthy jail sentence. But after a six-day trial he was found not guilty of inflicting grievous bodily harm. Today he'll be telling Lorraine about the huge toll the trial placed him on and why he's ready to get back to the job he loves.
