I don't think anyone is going there to die, that's not true at all everyone who go there want to go back to their family, they just comfort people who have a love one die there by telling them that they went straight to haven and it's good to die there but no one wish to die there.

@@marissa._ No, you’re not killing your self, a lot of elderly people simply go there in bad health, knowing that they may not make it back, but they are ok with it. They have come to the realization that death is a part of life and they weren’t meant to be here forever. What better place to go than the land where the holy prophets walked.

@@ileanaacacostaacosta1813 if you do that you go at your own risk as many thousands do each year. The hajj is not a death march. Walking down a major highway in rush hour traffic is a death march.

I am a catholic and I don't wish to die in the Vatican nor anywhere far from my home. Going to the mecca is one of the five pillars of Islam. There are no pillars in Christianity. It is true that there are the 7 main sins and there are the ten commandments which are the ways of life. But the Vatican is not a place of pilgrimage. It is the residence of the Pope. Catholics go on pilgrimage in Israel, in France, in Italy and in Portugal, countries that have given us Catholics, some saints.

Then is as simple as, when you go next time please go with a knife so you can easily kill your self, madness.

But if better provisions has been made there wouldn’t have been so much death, this became a pilgrimage of death for many people who didn’t went there to die, the organizers should have known better, and phase out this thing, the amount of people was overwhelming,

They went because they understood the importance of Hajj . So they saved up and went. We all save up and prioritize things that are important to us . While you are right that we can worship Allah wherever we are, regardless of our financial situation, we also get rewarded for striving or at the very least having the intention to want to strive and complete the 5 pillars to the best of our abilities.

I just want to clarify that people need to release themselves from feeling guilty if they do not go to Hajj because it is not obligatory. As for this couple (may Allah shower their souls with mercy), if they went overboard and deprived themselves to save for this journey, they went to the Most Gracious, Most Merciful, and Most Generous, and I have no doubt they are happy with the reward awaiting them. Is there any better way to depart this life than this? I just feel sorry for the daughter. I hope she is able to sue the agency that did not fulfill their promises, as they caused her to lose her parents too early. My apologies if I sounded thoughtless. My dad wants to go, and he does not have 20k, so we convinced him to go to Umrah instead, which literally costs 2k and not during summer. My point is that we need to do things according to our abilities, and the reward is based on intention, Allah accepts us all. Islam is a religion of ease, not hardship.

They told the hujaj not to go out until 3pm I was there ,but no one listened .

not everyone is required to make this pilgrimage, only people who are healthy, have no illnesses, have money and means to get there easily, have no responsibility of looking after ones old parents are supposed to go for pilgrimage. The religion is not at fault, its the management and government that is.

@@yousufalam65 Im just trying to understand....By not eveyone is required to go do you mean not everyone gets to enjoy the blessings of making the trip to the holy site.....If you are an elderly person you cant go because of your age and the toll it will take on your body?....Also if you dont have money to go then you dont get to experience the joy all the other people who had money did..

@@peekaxu4352 I meant abstained, these people are exempted from performing meaning it is ENTIRELY their choice whether to make the trip or not. they are not obligated to perform pilgrimage. This pilgrimage is compulsory for all muslims given that you can perform it with ease, there will be no sin on them for not performing it, and there are other acts of worhsip that can do to make up for the blessings theyre missing out on. And as far as money is concerned, meaning getting a plane ticket, getting a hotel to stay, (food water is free) youll need money. this does not mean if youre poor youre not allowed to enter, every muslim rich poor healthy sick old young every race can enter the Holy place.

Exactly! People do the silliest thing in the name of religion. Just be a good person, do right by people. You don’t need to follow any books or leaders. Be a good person by actions my not by following a book. I believe in god but I also have logic & a brain. 😢
