About the Fiat124 sport if its only on the rear head bolt it could have come down the heater hose course it seems to be next to the bolt..thats what it likes on the video..Cool stuff Chad..💪

Of course it's ok to have a lazy day Chad , I'd actually love to see more of u and Jolene chilling and enjoying ur life . Check that 351 boat engine. Some of those boat engines ran backwards from regular car engine

Just a suggestion: You can drill a small hole in the sheet metal before using the self-tapping screws. I know it sounds wrong to do it that way, but it's faster in the long run , when going through thick metal with self-tappers. That said, I never argue with success.

you can put that 351 Windsor with the 5-speed and the cabover... good engine for ,,torque and power,, I do believe.. good luck with everything everything looks good,, nice collection project. 🤙👍

Chad... I figured that Jolene was an artist because of all the ideas she contributes to your enterprise, and you comment about "color contrast" seems to confirm my belief. I want to mention that you should explore the possibility of building some attic space (in your new b building) for light (weight) storage like fabrics, plastic pieces, unused sign work, etc. Above the ceiling has a lot of negative space that can be used, and maybe it is not too late to engineer the storage area and/or add some structural beams for added support.....

Twincam engine i that Fiat 124, or that engine in all other car, they are known to blow headgasket, easy to see, you have antifrezze, or oil around the sparkplugs

you said it would cost $600 for corners n rockers but if someone brought a truck like this it would cost more to fix your way then if you were to buy new pieces as shop rates are $150 an hr plus your metal plus your shop fees etc etc the person would pay $2500 by the time you got it done so buying 600 in parts would save the person big time

Fast doesn't equal good. Nothing wrong with making panels but the metal should have been butted up not over lapped. Why not weld up the rocker fully? A good job is better that a fast job. Just asking for problems not fully cleaning and welding the metal. Chad I usually like your work but couldn't disagree on the application of this one more. Still love watching tho

You are right about the Money. Its easy to watch on TV or computer but in real life these cars cost a lot of money. Not everyone is rich. I like your show because its REAL. Keep going. You are an inspiration

The car hauler sounds like it's not getting spark maybe the points need to be cleaned depending on how long she has been sitting but It did not pop or anything so it may be a spark issue that's my guess anyway

Take the "35 Dodge and turn it into a 4 door truck. Move the chopped cab up over the motor to within a couple feet of the radiator and grill.Cut the trunk area out and put a steak side flat bed out back. Just my belly button 2cents worth. Whatever you do it will be cool.

Just me but in a garage that size I would surely have another overhead door on both ends, bit of a hassle but it's not too late to pop one in. Cool tho.

And when you get back from the store you have to install your 6 hundred dollars of stuff and that's a job in it self you did right on a farm truck and it will last longer than the store bought stuff

Good for you taking a day off. The Pontiac is just great, a couple of times I'm like, it's not gonna work but it does. I'm thinking someone should draw you as a cartoon super hero and put you in that car, just really fast how you move. Thanks for the learning.

Your rocker fix idea using the self tappers is an absolutely BRILLIANT idea!!! I have delt with rocker repairs for this exact reason MANY TIMES and always struggled with them welding flat, if at all, so I will be applying your knowledge most definitely. THANK YOU, for sharing your brilliant idea. Love too you and Jolene.

Hey Chad and Jolene any thoughts in doing something with the MG body ? That would be a build . I remember Chad pulling it out of a basement . Or do a open wheel race car ? I would like to see the 35 Dodge go back together stock. They are great looking cars just the way they are. It would be a fun daily driver with plenty of room in the back for Fina. The car has a lot of character the way it is. Just my opinion. Bill

Hi Chad and Jolene. I love the way you fabricate stuff. Not the conventional way. By watching your channel I have learned a lot. I am building a steelbody hotrod , a first time for me. Not planing on building another. Seeing that I dont have all the expensive metal forming tools, your way of doing things helped alot. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and understanding. Chad should "Google" some of the you tube video's about "Starting vintage vehicles with a manual choke" There is more than a few videos about: jump in cold starts such as the three pump and pause before hitting the starter so as to let the gas atomize in the carburetor and how to work the choke setting at 3/4's don't rush a take off learn the lite tap of the gas pedal which let's you know if it is warm enough to go no choke and then drive.

I wish I still had a dollar for every rust repair panel I've done. The thing with aftermarket replacement panels is twofold. First, they're made of very thin steel. Second, they rarely fit correctly out of the box. By building your own repair panels you've saved time and money. Not to mention the metal is heavier, stronger and will last longer. Have undercoating sprayed inside the new panels and everything will be nicely sealed up. I love the self tapper idea... the hours I spent and drill bits worn out drilling holes!!
