I am blown away how fast and well done it is. I know you do things differently but you have shown everyone that you don't need a million dollar shop and the best tools in the world to build something for yourself with stuff other people throw away. Just awesome 👌 👏 👍
It's so cool how this is turning out. Did you have any left over wood from your building in the back? Maybe use it in your truck bed like a nostalgia build!
You using square stock for support for the roof ? To keep your shape of the top will you also run your sheet through the roller ? If I'm right it means I am learning if I'm wrong I'm watching and listening . Thumbs up 👍 Jolene and Chad 👍
This is such a badass build . That 4 door looks great as a truck! I do think it woulda looked killer with a sliding rag in the top, but it looks great w/out it too. love the work and video's Chad and Jolene. keep them coming!
The truck is a beauty. I love the low stance and cab size. I thank you for your hard work and great effort in sharing your fabrication skills and wonderful digital filming.
The box will look so good on the pickup truck. Just a great job Bad Chad and Queen Jolene. Can’t even tell it was a sedan before. Can’t wait to see her when all the metal work is complete. You’re a genius bad Chad.
Jolene please have the guy building your new shop a 12 x 12 table with a metal top for Chad so he's never having to work on the floor unless it's necessary. I am so happy for you guys and the success you are achieving because you guys are actually doing the work with daily content. I don't know any other show doing daily including weekends. It's simply awesome!
I do not believe there will be any work performed in the new shop at all. As far as I know, it’s a building to ONLY store his vehicles and collectibles.
The car looks like it was meant to be a truck, the cab came out fantastic and will look even better when the little triangle openings are closed up and when the doors are repaired. I already like the bed sides, and can tell that the box is going to turn out great. As always great work Chad and Jolene as always. Jolene I watched a video earlier and the person doing the video was moving the camera to fast and was making me sea sick, it gave me even greater apreciation for your camera work!
The way you build this stuff real time while explaining it to the camera without screaming expletives every time something goes wrong is phenomenal. This is an awesome looking truck also.
That is a great metal cutting disc that appears to be super thin, can you divulge the brand? P.S. This sedan to truck is going to be one of your best efforts ! I am greatly enjoying this build.
Well I don't think I'll look at those old 4drs the same again...could be a coupe or truck hiding...great job and my hats off to both of you...cya tomorrow Chad and jolene and Fina
"Some assembly required" never applied more than your builds, just love it! I have an old 1978 Ford E-150 window van I been wanting to chop the roof ever since new, never really knew how to get started & how to handle A pillars & front door window frames. After watching your last build I might now attempt it. Very interesting way you have there, thanks for the classes. Thanks also for that great camera work, it shows the finer details needed to make things work out.
Chad,I am a 67 year old country boy and if I can understand what your talking about, then I'm sure others will understand too. But if they cant, then that's too bad.
Chad I have a 35 Plymouth PJ 4 door that I've been Thinking on Doing the Same thing to ! Although Was Thinking on Make an Extend Cab Of Sort . using the back side windows . Because I'm an Old Fat man and Need the ROOM ! HA HA !! I couldn't believe What you are Doing ! IT IS GREAT ! Keep Up the Good Work !
Step by step uncut raw footage n the perfect person to show us all how its done in a affordable way just takes a lil elbow grease...better than factory i must say...thank you for takin us along for the ride with u...Jolene as always wonderland work thank you for the footage true master(: ...thank you Bad Chad for the everything u show us!!!!
Wow! The bed is going to be spot on. 45 degree angle on top with rolled edge and stake pockets. Chad creates things with basic tools and Uses what he has. That’s how it was done In the old days. He is showing us folks You don’t need fancy tools to create. I absolutely dig this build.
This is my favorite build so far of Chad's. It's going to look badass when it's completed! I really hope you take it to car shows when you're done with it! 😁👍
Great looking project Chad, and thanks again to Jolene for putting us on the tip of the spear with awesome camera shots. This is your second build that I have followed all the way through and now I am hooked.
This is an awesome build. Absolutely in love with this vehicle. I need to start on something like this. 💪🏼 I agree w/ other comment(s). You need a metal table. I made a small 8' x 4' one. It has saved my back & knees, lol.
Hummmm. Do you have to change the registration from car to truck? What happens to the VIN code.. Do these changes need to be inspected to get a special "hot rod" regestration?
This is turning out bad ass Chad. It’s going to make a nice truck. Don’t wanna sound like I’m telling you what to do but did you get it think about maybe shortening the rear part of the box a little bit just my opinion
Ill give you this one Bad, your cutting skils with a cutting disc and grinder are second to none, Ive done a lot of cutting with the same exact equipment but you leave me in the weeds.
Ok that’s it your blowing my mind this truck is the most amazing thing I’ve seen in that amount of time or better yet you could have taken a lifetime and that is so cool . Thank you for giving us your time . Totally priceless
Chad, I watch your videos each night and I am doing the same job but on on a 1935 Citroen but started some time before you and it seems like da Ja vu every video I watch lol, How you have done the rear cab ( I had to make mine rear cab from scratch and now the truck bed is uncanny. Cheers Dave
i enjoy watching you two i like your way make what you want and who cares what people grip about do not change your ways good job one question why coated exhust pipe just want to know but thats all we use 2 inch pipe
I would love to see Chad do a body swap. That new trend where you get a modern car and chop the body off, then add an old car body to it. It would be perfect for what he does. With all those custom car bodies that he has
@ Bad Chad/ Joleane I hope you go with the two toned blue and white oh my I think the truck that Chad is building for you is amazing and beautiful again you guys are awesome awesome much love from Cape Breton and many blessings on you and your beautiful familys
Looking awesome. Since you didn’t change the length of the wheelbase the original running boards will work if you are careful about where you attach the rear fenders on the bedside. You might want to put the boards on truck to help align where to attach the rear fenders. But I know you know what you’re doing. Keep it coming bud.
I really love your type of humor and when it comes to building a car you do it like l would have done it without spending a lot of money that l would not have
I absolutely love this truck build.....would like to see more sedan to truck conversions.....a good way to save unwanted sedans instead of the usual 2 door coupe conversion. Truck version is way cooler...
This for me has been a real joy to watch. I drove a '47 GMC for 13 years and wish I'd never sold it. Love old cars and trucks. Thanks Chad and Jolene for your hard work.
Hey Jim, unless I missed it, does Chad have the rear fenders figured out already? I assume he's going to continue the runningboards all the way to the front of the rear fenders?
@@butziporsche8646 thank you very much! I even cleared some snow yesterday with the old clunkers just for fun. I can't wait to put those vids together for everyone!
I think this will make a great daily driver, sleek with classic, classy lines...as though it should've always been that way. Every time you think "naw, that's not gonna work!", Chad proves otherwise and pulls another rabbit out of a hat...wonderful content, thanks Queen Jolene & Bad Chad
This has got some character already ,I can only imagine what it's going to look like once the box is in place with the exhaust bead and the quirky fender lines ,it's going to look pretty impressive. Nice one, to both of you, keep up the good work guys. 👍
I had that same thought a couple of days ago. To me, it's the only place that makes sense for it. But then, I have no idea what he plans to use for a fuel tank.
