Thanks Justice, for truly showing Justice relating the meaningful elaboration of the claimed of certain institutions that, they’re exclusively independent from the debates, opinions and concerns of citizens. Power resides in the people.
Very honoured and mostly grateful in hearing such justice. Wisdom is speaking 🗣️ and will continue have impact on Ghanaians. I really love people who speaks openly without favour or fear. God bless Sir 🙏🙏
Thank you Justice Atuguba for speaking up. Is it that EC has changed the core values of Transparency, Fairness and Integrity and we do not know? In fact, the conduct of the EC under Jean Mensah over the years has eroded the confidence of the general public in the electoral process. From the appointment of NPP foot soldiers (Bossman, Tetteh, etc) to invade the sacred courts of the EC and its apparatus, to the denials of the "missing" Biometric Verfication Devices (BVDs) and handling of discoveries, From the conduct of the Limited Registration Exercise (LRE) to frustrate, discourage and disenfranchise qualified citizens from participating in the electoral political discourses of the country, to the late submission of the provisional register to the political parties (a mischievous act calculated to frustrate them from acting their part properly in the exhibition process), From the illegal transfers of voters without their consent and concurrence, to the adversarial posture against well meaning stakeholders who have evinced palpable evidence beyond reasonable doubt that the EC is either inadvertently or deliberately guilty of illegally tampering with the voters register in secrecy, and to the current dictatorial posture and stance against the calls for a forensic audit of the register, ALL MAKE THE CASE FOR A FORENSIC AUDIT MORE VIABLE. If there's nothing to hide, why the dictatorial stance against the calls for an audit? #EnoughIsEnough #NoRetreatNoSurrender
Your Lordship Justice William Atuguba may you live long to teach us the provision of the Constitution You're a brave person just as when you're at the office and you are still when you left office Long live Justice William Atuguba May you never suffer any sicknesses in this world until your maker calls you , Strength , Wisdom, Good Health and long live be your portion in JESUS Name, AAAAAAAAMEN 🙏🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
If by a privilege to go through the constitution and rule of law, we could see the ,npp government led by akufo addo and bawumia has gone against the constitution and it's very serious matter
Tears dropped my eyes when the venerable retired judge spoke. Ghana is in the tatters and has been razed down its image. Pure state capture, corruption, name them. It’s sad. Thank you your honor. We are most grateful.
yeka wontie debie debie na wobehu Jean Mensah Tiee dont be stuborn to carry all the blames and Mess of this government. u will regret it if things go bad. Human beings are complicated when dealing with them. what will u lose or thake from your independence when u allow an audit woman?
Eiiiiiiiiiiii, this man reminds me of 2012 election petition. He once said “when we Come back, we will see whether the lunch was biometric ally verified.” 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Whilst we have some busily buying public lands cheap at the blind side of the people in Cantonments; some are here giving sacred and unadulterated interpretation which align with the true spirit of the law. You Sir are venerable. Salute!
One of the few distinguished personalities of mother Ghana, God bless you so much for your honesty and truthfulness. Speaking the truth at all times irrespective of the risk we are faced with in this present days. Thanks so much for your lecture over the night.
Is it also true that EC is an independent institution and that they cannot be asked to bring in auditors to make sure that voters register is credible? What is wrong with the EC? Where are the former EC chairpersons, Jean Mensah must be schooled. She is too stubborn.
Funny thing is when she was the head for IEA she insisted the former EC Chairperson have an audit of the register o. Now she’s in the same seat and she doesn’t want to take her own advice she gave years ago. 😂😂😂
Hmmmmmm! We shall all reap what are sowing, in words or in deeds... we all need to access ourselves, political actors and leaders in government and out of government, citizens, both patriotic and unpatriotic... we have all played various roles in getting the country where it is, congratulations to us all 🎉
I WANT TO KNOW ,WAS ATUGUBA, A SUPREM COURT JUDGE IN 2012? WHEN PEOPLE WERE COMPLAN ING, ABOUT THE EC WHAT DID HE DO, HE IS A BITTER MAN. WHEN HE WAS IN ACTIVE SERVICE WHAT HE HE DO IS HELP WHAT HE IS SAYING. TODAY. THIS MAN IS JUST A BITTER PERSON.
Stop peddling your ignorance around. It seems you don't see anything of value in his submission because of the size of your brain. Sorry, to each their brain size.
Trust TV3 to interview none other than Atubiga on this issue 😂😂. Lawyers ,judges and pastors in Ghana will always explain things to suit their Angenda ,is all about interpretation,,none is honest and that has been the problem in our country Ghana.
This tv3 people are not fair with Ghanaians. The EC says the NDC people should bring their proof but they don't have any proof of what they are saying. So Mr rtd judge please find out first before you make any judgement.
Ooh it is just unfortunate the respect retired judge has been mislead by the host Ocansey. The NDC went into a meeting with the EC and it turns out that they made specific claims of discrepancies on the voters register and failed to provide the specific evidence for the specific claims they made and had with them at the time of the meeting till date. Now how will one expect the EC to act where they have no evidence of the claims been made by the NDC? The respected retired judge knows that the rule of the game is evidence and it is based on evidence that all justices or judges act in the interest of parties to in a case. I think what we should all be doing is to call the NDC out just like CODEO has done to furnish the EC with the evidence they have so the EC can act and not to call the institution and the people who work there names. Some of us supported the NDC's election petition claims and demonstrated on the streets just to be told some years later that they had no evidence to the claims they made in court. I dont think TV3 and the host (Ocansey) will be happy if any random person make some claims at them with no evidence and the authorities decides to close their station down. Let us all be fair, today it is done to the EC, it might be TV3 or any other person or institution tomorrow. All the same i like the interview with the respected retired judge. It is great hearing from him again. 🎉🎉🎉
@@larrymahmoud383 Wait and see what? Have the NDC made available the specific evidence of the specific claims they have made? If the NDC are serious with the claims they have made without any malice then they should come clear by doing the right thing. The host Ocansey knows that the claims by the NDC is without evidence so far but deliberately did not say that to the respected retired judge knowing that the reason why the respected retired judge is soo revered is his practice of the rule of law that deal with collobrative evidence in any case they conduct. It is like the host Ocansey has deliberately set up the respected judge with little information on the subject matter for the public to do something I will not want to mention. It is just unfortunate that the respected judge is involved.
Elections are won at the polling station today you've a different view because it goes against the NDC. A retired judge at this moment you should be relaxing instead of granting interviews, you rather let junior lawyers do that. If NDC has issues they should go to court, if EC wants to do any corrections it'll not be able to clean everything 100%.
That is true but the issues happening now is to disenfranchise people which will have an effect on voter turnout especially if it happens at NDC strongholds. That's how you should see this
@@HarryWattsonKGyasi Boss it's called provisional register for a reason, you see abnormalities as participants who went checking your name you do notify the electoral commission staff so they rectify it, secondly, if its coming from a political party you do send your findings to the EC for all necessary corrections. The only problem with the NDC is simple they think what Amedu Sulley did during Charlotte Osei tenure of transferring illegal 1M people into the register is what is going on now. Akufo Addo won by close to a million so if you add the illegal one million to Akufo Addo he should be doing close to 2 million and if it was substracted from the NDC since Amedu Sulley did that in favor of NDC then what do you think would have been the gab or percentage margin. NDC will have issues because their deeds are following them after all executives continue to fight the EC, communication bureau engaged on all platforms about the EC the NPP is campaigning at all fronts, after rectification the NPPs message had gone down. Today, former president is not talking about his manifesto but lambasting about the EC and Akufo Addo forgetting there's Bawumia. Well who am I to advise the NDC
@@HarryWattsonKGyasiand the election winning at the polling station is false. When the electoral commissioner pronounce the winner using faxed or text messages sent from the stations the court will support
Your perspective on the law and the constitution is noteworthy, but it's important to remember that in a democracy, the majority ultimately decides. Your views seem to reflect a bias that doesn't fully capture the realities in Ghana. Additionally, I’m curious about your mention of state capture-could you clarify that? And regarding your comments on the economy, it might be best to approach that topic with more nuance. STATE CAPTURE? Unbelievable! Just because the decision didn't go the minority way makes it a State Capture?. You are a bitter person.
But if the register is faulty and happen to give a bases for rigging of election what will it be called? State Capture so he is right to use that phrase.
