um not really considering they do take away some of the fighter purse if they do not make weight. Other champions admit that having issues making weight lead them to go up or retire all together. Making weight is part of being the champion in Boxing. It was a mental comment....you have never heard it before but some coach somewhere said this to Haney.....and Devin relayed the message.
