I'm sorry People but, NO COUNTRY STAR today can hold a candle to Dwight's vocals. As far as I'm concerned Dwight is the GREATEST country singer I have EVER HEARD and I've been around country music since I was a kid. I come from a family of musicians, as well as myself. I do like Randy Travis, Vince Gill, Travis Tritt, Buck Owens, Hank Williams Sr. and Jr. Rhonda Vincent, George Strait. As far as country Rock from the 70's , I enjoy ......MARSHALL TUCKER, LYNYRD SKYNYRD. New Riders of the Purple Sage, Old Charlie Daniels Band ( Fire on the Mountain). etc etc. Lee Ann Rimes is amazing too.Pasty Cline. Linda Ronstadt. So many....
Yip he's one of the best all the modern ones are kinda going rock n pop Dwight and buck grew up listening to rockabilly and traditional country that's why they are Awsome song writers and performers 👍🍺🏴 Cheers tony
Bought this record by Buck Owens in 1968 and it was the only version I knew and loved. I agree, Dwight shoots this out of the pond, it's my first hearing this and it's much better, though Buck Owen's sings it more with humour.

Are you kidding me ... This is Country as can be , all the way. And whatever it sounds like to you, by whatever name you call it , it absolutely touches one in the core.. tugs the heart strings..on the very first hearing .. Now thats what I call great music.
