Valhalleluja was my first Nanowar of Steel song. At first I was "WTF" and then I was in tears of laughter. They are hilarious 😂 but also amazing musicians. Nanowar of Steel are the masters of parody metal! My favourite song by them is Disco Metal (from the current album Dislike To False Metal) but whatever you pick, it won't be a miss anyways! German medieval metal band Feuerschwanz (translates to Fire Tail with the 100% intentional double meaning/ slang translation Fire Dick) made a quite funny cover of ABBA's Gimme Gimme Gimme and an absolutely ridiculous one of the infamous 2004 summer dance hit Dragostea Din Tei (aka the Numa Numa song), originally by the Moldovan boy group O-Zone.

After another band had to change their name for legal reasons (Rhapsody changed to Rhapsody of Fire), they changed to Nanowar of Steel to poke fun at them. The facts about the planets are correct, the bass player has a PhD in Astrophysics. And you thought Electric Callboy was going to kill you. 🤣🤣. Try "Valhalleluja" next from them, that is the teaser that started playing at the end of this one. Think Vikings and Christmas, with a NoS twist.
Watching people react to Nanowar Of Steel for the first time never gets old 😂😂😂. I think you'll have to dig into the Nanowar of Steel Rabbit hole now 😁. My suggestions are "And Then I Noticed That She Was A Gargoyle", and "Vegan Velociraptor" because the lyrics are hilarious 🤣🤣🤣. The last video they made, "Protocols of Love" which is full of references. And "Norwegian Reggaeton" (make sure to turn on the captions for that one, some of the lyrics are in Spanish and in Norwegian). While I love Electric Callboy, they only started doing comedy bits recently and those are still only a part of their production, Nanowar have been doing this for 20 years and there isn't a single serious song in their discography. Their bassist Gatto Panceri 666 speaks 9 different languages besides his native language italian. One of it is hebrew which they used in Valhaleluja. He also has an Ph.D. in Astrophysics so the details in this song are rock solid. The dancers costumes are not Sailor Moon (which most people assume) but Sailor Uranus (of course) and if you look at the credits you notice that every dancer is named after one of Uranus moons. There are more details hidden in the lyrics, for example "gonna colo-nize uranus" which refers to a colonization, a medical procedure where they try to restore your colon bacteria by inserting donor bacteria... ah, you basically get donor shit injected in your anus: "My shuttle's fast like a torpedo, it's gonna pierce uranus"

Some people might disagree but I actually think this might be the best song and video to introduce people to Nanowar Of Steel. Imagine the question "Who would ever actually put effort into making a five minutes metal song about the oldest joke in the world, invite a guess from another country to sing in it, make a whole video about it, filled with references and inside jokes most people would never even understand?". Nanowar Of Steel, that's who. That's all you need to know. Also they're italian and they're awesome.

Next you can try Norwegian Raggaeton from NANOWAR OF STEEL. Valhalleluja is great to really get into the Christmas spirit, so maybe it is a bit too early in November. I would love to see some more Electric Callboy reactions on fridays, maybe your channel is gonna blow up just like Tank the Tech's did. You can also go for the HYPA HYPA variations. So glad you found and enjoyed this, it's a great song that I somehow keep forgetting about I was trying to think of a song more representative of Nanowar's style, but I'm not sure they have a style, every song is different and they're all a good laugh while still being really good music (something a lot of comedy bands fail at in my opinion) I think when December comes along, you should listen to a song of theirs called Valhalleluja. It's everything you didn't know you needed in a Christmas song
Mix all these "classic" artists together in one video, and what could possibly go wrong? At least you treated this modern space opera with every bit of the dignity, respect and gravitas that it deserved.
