So many people are griping about this episode. You had serious / funny / Law & Order / serious again. The opening with the captain's chair that can drain away was pretty cool. You got Mando's doing bad things which will be an issue, their "Freelance Work" and the New Republic thinking Mando's released Moff Guidion. The fun was the Jack Black and Grogu always following his stomach. The TV Cop show mixed with Clone Wars. Was very interesting. The Droid Bar was worth pausing to see if you can ID all the droids. Once solved and Grogu knighted (a bit more fun) they move on. Then the final serious. Good fight, Bo can take a punch. She defended Din as being a real Mandalorian and reminded the others that the Children of the Watch took the Creed and take it seriously. I enjoyed the episode, even the silly parts. Those silly parts were entertaining and did not take away from the main story plot

This episode was fun. We got star wars characters playing good cop/bad cop in a CSI or lethal weapon type detective show. I wouldn't be against a CSI:new republic show were they explore the crime world and government incompetence.

Bo'Katan used to be a member of the Deathwatch mandalorians, I assume most of her current forces were former members of the deathwatch also seeing as how pre destruction of Mandalore they were the only militant members of Mandalore society. With the rest of Mandalorians being free love hippies at that point. So you would think Bo'Katan's Mandalorians and the children of the watch Mandalorians would get along quite well except for the whole must never show your face thing.

Is it just me, or are these mercenary Mandos just not worth recruiting? In my eyes, at least, since they only care about money, blood, and who's wielding the sacred sword, not qualifications like wisdom, great feats, or strength of character. If it were up to me, I'd have left those Mandos with those rich yahoos, because that's what you do with sellswords whose only real goal is getting more money. Let them sell themselves to whoever can pay, if I were nation-building, I'd be getting the most loyal men and those with the right qualifications. I'd pick Jack Black's character over them, since he at least helped a planet rebuild to the point where the people don't even need to work, which is crucial when you're building a warrior society where menial labor has to be assigned to someone else because the citizens are full-time warriors.

Law & Order: Special Mando Unit

Bo-Katan vs. Axe Woves reminds me of the fight between Jango Fett and another Mandalorian named Montross. Unlike Woves, Montross doesn't stop until you're dead and couldn't give less of a shit about money, preferring instead the carnage and violence, to the point where he'd kill a criminal for a paltry fee rather than turn them in alive for a fortune. The two of them fought the same way, with jetpacks, missiles, and repeating blaster pistols. Jango Fett won, then he fed Montross to some brainwashed Sith cultists who tore Montross apart as he yelled at Jango to kill him.

This season has been all over the place it’s so messy. This is a repeat of what happened in Boba Fett where Mando jumped in and took over the show and now it Bo Katan taking over Mandos show. My favorite episode thus far has been 3 and 5 when it involved the former imperials and the mystery and intrigue behind that. It felt less kid puffy and more serious. The action against the pirates was cool too. Bring back S1 and 2 of Mandolorian days!

Did not like this episode at all if they were gonna give the dark Saber back to bo like that they should have just had her accept it from din when he tried to give it to her last season all tension that was built from that lead to nothing. Mando is seriously becoming side quest the show

Worst episode yet. Celebrity cameos didn't bother me at all, but this was the episode where: Din and Bo put down a slave rebellion, and kill the runaway slave, on a world where people live in comfort at the expense of the dispossessed Ugnaughts and Droids who are all treated horribly, but it's ok because it was orchestrated by an old political radical, Din and Bo suddenly turn into cops, complete with police brutality and bigotry by both of them, with each of them switching off being the bad cop, with Din suddenly being even more bigoted than in S1, undoing his whole arc, and it's only barely acknowledged. And Bo's elitism is only called out somewhat. And there's no resolution to it.

TBH Jack Black, Lizzo, and Lloyds scenes looked like a very bad super bowl halftime commercial.
