I always appreciated it that strings never used women as selling objects or a symbol of hyped attraction in their videos, the video was about pure feelings lyrics and singing, no bad stuff, like other singers fell in the trap for using women as eye candies and introducing cheating and affairs as song themes, like billo , preeto and many other songs. Most other singers especially from punjab singers add all social evils in their songs, I think thats why EP did well too, their songs were a class apart and not about the usual punjabi filmi sleazy cheap concepts being normalized.
Some top quality men; Faisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood. Extremely decent and grounded. We are lucky to have had them while growing up. Strings will be missed. Thank you for this episode and also for the Bilal Maqsood one.
Such a great convo session. I always perceived faisal kapadia to be a dry personality based on his on screen presence but i was totally wrong. His interview with ahmed butt showd how warm and loving person he is. Loved this completely

Loved the interview..the only concert i attended was of strings..early 2000's ..such decent humans both of them..his charismatic smile and elequont way of narrating ..could not skip a minute..always be a fan of strings. I was heart broken when they parted ways.😢
Ahmed bhai, listening to these 2 podcasts of yours with Bilal and Faisal has made me fall in love with Strings all over again. Them recalling their journeys of fame and superhit songs just made me live through the sweet memories of my childhood listening to Strings in our cars, trips, and home. Cheers.
I watched it bcz I was n still huge fan of strings...he is so much mature and composed person. Both of them gave full space to each other.Very few people get this idea.If you have one friend,you get so much hurdles to meet others as that friend always mind it.

The reason possibly seems to be that Bilal being the music producer was getting brand contracts like Yelo and many others where Faisal has almost zero contribution.

Where is the story about comeback by dur and sur ki hai yeh pahaar. It was massive and i want to hear about that. Those songs were game changers. Clean, classy and catchy. Amazing songs by amazing men !

Ahmad bhai amazing videos, been a fan for a while since EP, first time commenting on the video, just some creative criticism the video had some audio issues, the volume would go up and down a lot in this setup, you were using the mics before were of a lot better audio, i mostly listen to you while driving so it was a bit of a hassle on this one, but rest of the videos are amazing, lovely to see you do this, hope you get a lot more success.
