I just found this game on xbox two weeks ago. When i looked up this game on youtube i found your channel and have become obsessed! Love the lessons in U.S and war history, also thankyou for your service as a firefighter! Tough job to have
Mighty high praise friend and it sets an extremely high bar for future episodes but I'll keep being me and hopefully you keep being entertained and entranced. Cheers!
"Artificial Imbicility" you've got some pretty fantastic one liners man👍🏼😂 Amazing video, that was an incredible flurry of tactics. Always a pleasure watching you do your thing, army vet here so I can dig the ferocity with which you fight every battle. Seriously improved the way I crush the enemy in bannerlord, appreciate all the tips and tricks. Looking forward to seeing more and more from your channel brother, kill!
Good content as always, it's insightful since you're fighting 2 different factions at the same time. starting to face large armies on my run but more on Keep/Castles sieges. I've yet to try fighting them in the field so watching how you deal the enemy army is worth to watch and learn some tactics from. P.S.: that mounted jump javelin throw was epic
I really enjoyed that battle, great use of the available terrain. I don't think there was any way you could have avoided the heavy losses against such a large force but definitely not a pyrrhic victory by any means. Adaptation is the key to success and you do that masterfully.
No better feeling then when you are in huge battles like this wondering how close or far you are from victory and then you start realizing it’s nothing but low level recruits and such spawning for the enemy. Hold fire. All charge. Green screen massacre.
From what I understand bows generally had much longer range than a crossbow but a crossbow of high enough poundage was able to reach out at at least compete range wise against the lighter poundage war bows
Completely random fun fact that I found today: the battanian highborn warrior, the tier 3 version of the fian champion, have a tier 6 two handed sword as their secondary
@Tacitcal Enlightment: Don't know if you remember my comment, but I asked you about 8 or so videos ago if you were open to taking sieges that players needed help with and would like your perspective on. I've failed to get a siege that I think would be worthy of your brains, but I've got something else instead. I'm playing as the faction leader for the Southern Empire, and am currently at war with the Khuzait. I've gotten myself into a pickle. I have 351 troops (Most of which are elite give or take 10 or so) vs 1100 or so Khuzait troops. I've played out the battle several times, and always get the enemy down to the point that they only have tier 1 recruits running at me. The issue is, I only have a handful of troops left at this point every time, and there's usually 200-400 recruits sprinting at me and it's game over. I think this is a battle I can figure out eventually, but I'd love for you to give a wack. Let me know if you're interested, and we can figure out a way to send the save file over!
I have trouble taking on armies 1.5 times larger than mine. Of course I'm fat fingering my keybinds, dismounting cav during a charge and whatnot. But, here's hoping your style of combat influences mine.
Some troops has bound and hickory crossbow, and no troop has noble long bow. So not a top tier comparison. You can check with companions / family and see who starts shooting first.
2:38 in a situation like this, shouldnt you have ran towards the vlandian forces? In order to divide and conquer. Feel like it would be way easier. Almost to easy
