Some of the graves might be spread out over a larger area because of the extensive earth works. The parkinglot grave might even be moved entierly to somewhere. The ammount of errosion from traffic woould surely have revealed the grave, if the cars dont pulverize the remains

Of the 650,000 thousand inhabitants of the British mandate after WW1, around 10% were Jewish. So when I wrote in the OP the "the locals were never asked", this also refers to these Jews who already lived here, many of whom *also* opposed Zionism and mass-immigration, exactly *because* they feared that the resulting ethnic tensions would hit them too (evidence provided by books and interviews). I studied in Chinese university on scholarship and attended language school with other international students on scholarship and met a good number of Palestinians, though I knew of one Israeli student there are few from the west in general. I was one of a few Americans at the school. Many Palestinian nationals though, as well as Palestinians from refugee camps in neighboring countries. It is a full scholarship for most there and there are many Arabs from all countries, it is good to learn the language to do business back in Syria as a friend of mine does after discharged from the war studied Chinese and went to China on business school scholarship and from there made imports business with local Chinese partner to send medical devices back to Syria where hospitals desperately need them. I do see some hope in that regard as there are many extremely bright students from the Arab world who go to China to live and study and end up speaking excellent Chinese and making business connections and successful careers. I do hope that as public opinion shifts so too will the Chinese govt on this issue as they have a very even hand internationally and thus far had had significant business relationships with Israel though as I understand it seems like that bond has only lessened in recent years, while connections to Arab world are increasing with expansion of belt+road initiative zones
