"I couldn't be more reasonable" 🤣🤣🤣 It's like a burglar coming into your house to steal your stuff but claiming you should be grateful that he's not assaulted you.
The woman copper was the antagonist in this entire situation but the security guard is a complete clown. Also not having his SIA id badge on display is not acting as security legally. That entry point is also unfit for purpose if pedestrians are not allowed past that point. Very poor situation you uncovered there? Stay safe
*the Police *SIA officers *those to whom the SIA has given authority under Section 19 of the Private Security Industry Act (typically, these will be licensing officers from local councils). Although members of the public have the right to request that you show them your licence, you are not obliged to show it to anyone other than those listed above.
@@whiteelb DJ audit [yesterday]at security exposition held i believe B'ham very clearly explained the actual LAW regarding all aspects governing SIA conduct including the compulsary wearing their of badge in a fully visible manner at all times when interacting with the public. This was all confirmed by the SIA's own leading official - including the fact that not properly displaying visibly to All - according to his word is in fact a Criminal offence and verified such by showing that information in their published code of coduct handbook. So go check it all out -DJ Audits and see for yourself !
@@DavidSmith-oy4of Hard to respond to a situation that hadn’t happened, I was not there, and not my reality, if you mentioned reality and affected myself, then could have responded to you accordingly, a hypothetical situations proposition or statement here made no sense to me.
Spectacular!! You were in a battle of wits with unarmed opponents. I'm from the U.S., the officer was indicating that if you were filing a criminal complaint, you first had to provide him with the exact legislation law, he will not take the complaint. So you might want to research the legislation law which prevents homicide because if someone in your family is murdered, the police can't take the complaint unless you know the exact legislation which makes homicide a crime. With the exception of the Sergent, you talked with everyone else were nothing short of lying THUGS. Great job.
I don't know much about your style of auditing, but that security man needs a complaint against him. He shouldn't be in that job with a temperament like that.
The so called sia guard using threating behaviour he needs to be taken off the job retrained properly or. Asked to leave the job his going to go to far one day. He seams bitter that he's not a policeman. They wouldn't want someone like him on the job.
Security guard very unprofessional police Sgt was spot on. Female copper paranoid beyond belief and Bobby in civvies didn't have a clue. Well done bud 😉 Visiting this one soon myself to see if things have changed. 😆
The woman police officer was shocking. She was rude, dismissive and escalated the whole situation. At the end she started backtracking to try and make herself look better.
Despite reporting a threat to an officer which I witnessed. The constable took the side of one party against another rather than remain unbiased. It was a threat from the supposed security guard who isn’t wearing his SIA badge. How do we get these people to obey the law and act more proffessionaly.
I gree to what you say, only I would argue the the "man in the yellow jacket" is NOT a security guard, along with his rules and given authorisation, until he DISPLAYS that he is. For all we know, he is a friend of Bethany and is playing at dressing up.
The classic question to ask them is "do I have to show you my Id?" . They should have allowed you to go on police premises and THEN ask you to leave. The sargeant succeeded in dissuading him, doesn't seem legal to me. Shows signs of being a top auditor and very fearless too, bravo. The crazy security guard should not be working at a police station should he ?
WOW what a great audit. The security guard was totally unprofessional in every respect and needs sacking immediately as his actions clearly demonstrated how not to do things in a position of security. He constantly referred to you as a 'Google lawyer' trying to goad you and then unbelievably threatened you (I'm off duty in 10mins let go and have a chat') plus many other comments which he should keep to himself, what an absolute disgrace he is. I really hope you report him to the SIA. Then we have 'Ms Rab' who wasn't convincing at all and embarrassed herself and her police force. Thankfully the Sergeant had sense and dealt with the situation professionally and properly.
I THINK THAT SECURITY GAURD HAS JUST INVITED PEOPLE TO POP ROUND AND HAVE A CHAT WITH HIM WHEN HE FINISHES WORK BECAUSE NOT EVERYONE WILL TURN DOWN HIS OFFER SOME WILL ACCEPT AND THEN WE WILL SEE WHAT A BIG MAN HE IS
She left that car parked on a active road...without any hazard lights or any good reason to do so. Because "I am a police officer" doesn't mean your above the law
The first insult came from the security guard, calling you a 'Google Lawyer', then he cries for his mummy, saying that he was called an idiot. Great audit, you articulate yourself very well. Respect!
The irony is that 15-20 minutes on google will give any citizen a better understanding of the relevant laws than most 'trained' officers have. Disgraceful.
Christ it's jaw dropping that a police officer is calling someone out for not knowing legislation. I'd be shocked if the copper could quote even the basics.
@@kentcyclist you should Google what that expression actually means. 'Taking the lord's name /in vain/' is swearing an oath to or in the name of god when you have no intention or ability to keep it. The phrase you're looking for is 'blasphemy'. Jesus, some people are thick.
What a nervous little police woman the way she scuttled along to tell the security man. Absolutely clueless about the law and her continuously saying "I'm telling you as a police officer" showed us all how thick she actually is.
1. Is it absolutely necessary for me to display my licence? The short answer is yes. That’s because it is one of the conditions listed when you get your licence. One of the requirements states that your licence should be worn in such a way that the front can be seen at all times. The only time that this rule does not apply is if you’ve lost it or you’ve reported it stolen or if it is in our possession.
Karen told you not to escalate the situation but it was her that stopped you in the first place doing something you are legally allowed to do & escalated the entire situation, she then brought 4 other people into it. They haven't got any idea on the law, they are so use to intimidation working on the public they don't have to learn the law. That first guard needs the sack & the rest need to be on k9 kennel clean up for a few months. Stay safe
You do very well. Thanks for the time and effort. We have some good auditors here in the US, and some that aren't so good. I really enjoy AB and PJ, and now happy to find Your channel. Thanks. and I will be subscribing.
That police officer broke about 3 traffic rules.if that’s her being “reasonable and polite I shudder to think how she is without a camera, she continuously escalated that entire situation; an astonishing superiority complex displayed here . She’s like a broken doll.. “I’m a police officer , I’m a police officer , I’m a police officer” bully for you poppet , you get a fancy dress costume and cheap McDonald’s . Ridiculously unethical behaviour for a public servant.
Really impressive how calm you stayed here, the security guard is very thin skinned isn’t he, definitely a threat from him, and in front of police “officers” he dismissively insults you, and because you responded in kind, he wants to fight you!? Great Audit
This off duty officer clearly tried to make herself more important than she is, self empowering people are the worst to deal with and you were well switched on to what she was trying to do. She hated the fact that you brought her down to earth with the yellow laces comment and the black coat comment. Excellent work friend. Keep it up cause I love it when you obviously prepared yourself with updates of memos being circulated as an advisory to all police forces. Tip top 👌 👍
If a police station isn’t secure there is something wrong. That security guard was very unprofessional. No sia badge on display and the cops say nothing?..
In-house guards don’t need licences at all. There’s no company name on their jackets or anywhere else saying it’s guarded so they could well be directly employed by the police.
@@pup6728 You're correct, in-house security don't need it and there were no markings on the jacket. However it would be highly unlikely the police employed him directly. It's not the done thing by government bodies, like how the jobcentre use G4S instead of employing in-house. Either way he's been reported to the SIA so they can determine the outcome
The security guard complains about the number of auditors visiting the site, but he doesn't understand it is his own behaviour that attracts them and will continue to attract them How dumb can you get?
I have an SIA badge and you are right, it should be on display unless you are covert like a store detective, that guy was aggressive from the start and shouldn’t be in security, meet me around the corner , man-child.
The police woman completely lost track of why she was stopping the man with a camera and she completely lost track of what she was trying to achieve. Because you wouldn't give her your name she decided to make it a battle between you and her. She went blindly down one track and lost control of herself. Don't they get any training with this sort of thing? When I was in the army many moons ago we were taught that sometimes you need to take a breather, take a step back and reassess what you are doing. Why arent' they teaching police these basics?
Just parks her car in the middle of the road, swings her door open without looking, as a car is attempting an overtake, then abandons the car. The sheer arrogance of this woman, it's almost like she jumped at the chance to tell somebody what to do and couldn't understand why you wouldn't dance to her tune.
This woman shud be held in court for parking on the middle of a busy road.. just crazy for PC to go against the law as if they are powerful to break the law..🤦🏻♂️
At 26:00 the security guard "Have you got a job?" He's got a cheek as all he does is push a button very 10 seconds for a 12 hr shift and probably on minimum wage.
"Have you got a job?" I would never judge anyones job but if he's going to go down that road, he literally pushes a button to lift a barrier. Who's he to judge? 🙃
I like how Pc fowler was quizzing you on the exact wording of the assault legislation, like he knows every single legislation of the top of his head! What a doughnut!
My goodness that security guard (no SIA badge, so let's call him "Flipper") is a piece of work... what a bloody nightmare he must be to work with. The officer in the purple coat I felt could probably handled it herself, but Flipper's intervention escalated the whole thing to a ridiculous degree and left her scrambling to stop the whole thing turning into a disaster. Ultimately Sergeant's approach of "I see your point and you're right. I'll do what I can do improve things, but you really can't go past here" resolved the situation easily to everyone's satisfaction. Top marks to him, and the little touch of humour is always nice to see from a copper. Lastly, PC Fowler should know that there is NO legislation around common assault in the UK. It's a common law offence, and the correct case law for words being a form of assault is R v Wilson [1955] 1 WLR 493 and R v Constanza [1997] Crim LR 576 among others. "Fighting words" is an American term that actually has very little to no meaning in English law. Keep up the great work!
I really like this video, and especially how you deal with interactions. That sergeant was a very nice fellow, and dealt with you very respectful. Great job sergeant. Looking forward to watching more of your videos 👍
"I'm telling you as a police officer..." is code for "I want to try and coerce you into doing what I say, but actually, I'm talking rowlocks......" "Can we just be reasonable about this?" Grasping at straws, she knows there is nothing stopping pedestrians from gaining free access.
@@nicksellors No ignorace[ -both in general and of the Law] combined with aggressive unprofessional and even threatening behaviour are all worse individualy and even more so when combined as exhibited here !
24:00 So why then as a police officer she not cautioning the security guard for not wearing his SIA badge, as it is a SIA requirement, and to show you it.
It took me a while to get my head around your style of Auditing but having gone through the back catalogue, you're are well prepared and quick-witted. I'm laughing my head off watching this stuff again. It's Brilliant that you received the Auditor of the Year Award 2022. The voice over was hilarious, congratulations, well done and keep it up. Great M15 video as well!
Came across your channel purely by chance. Had a look at some of your other stuff and now have subscribed. You do good work, so hopefully your numbers will go up.
It never ceases to amaze, how men who think they're tough, stand with an open legs stance with hands in pockets, protruding their solar plexus & offering a raised chin.
30:50 Section 4a of the public order act covers the fighting talk. The guard intentionally meant to threaten you when he said to meet up off site. There was no sign of any cordial conversation prior, only threats and constant goading. There is no way a reasonable person would think that it required a conversation to be carried out off site - not unless the guard wanted to do something that he couldn't whilst working. And having a cordial conversation is something he can do whilst working, since he is already having a conversation at this point in time.
When you see a sign for a cycle way and public footpath, there is another sign where it ends, i suggest that is way further up the road and that barrier is for cars only. The law dosen't work off common sense as the copper said, you can't enforce a law or restriction by saying "commom sense tells you" Very impressed they beamed Jean-Luke Picard down to help out.
Officer I have just been robbed by a guy with a knife. (Officer) “Do you know what act and law that comes under” ? (Victim) “no sorry,I am not a trained police officer”(Officer) “ Sorry then, unless you know the Act and section you don’t qualify for any assistance from a police officer”.
Having worked in security as a supervisor and training new guards, I would not have that security officer on my team. He is an antagonist that would escalate most situations and cause issues for the wider team.
Two security guards with massive delusions of grandeur. They're not cops no matter how desperately they wish they were. The failure of the first two cops to control the situation and stop the guards interjecting was appalling.
Textbook audit. The sergeant was a credit to his force, and handled the situation professionally & diplomatically. Thank you also, PTTP, for taking an honourable position to not cross the barrier. The sergeant gave you a level of trust and you respected your word. Would that more auditors behaved with a similar level of honour as you and AB tend always to do. As for the security goon - he should not be employed in such a role. He clearly lacks the necessary temperament and skills.
He already has me Ron Pickering and the wealdstone raider did him at McDonald's.we said to the cleaner that security bloke is sick at the table call him a an ambulance
