So when you fold back those mittens from time to time, do they become... intermittent ?

Thanks Bill! I have carried (2) folding tables for years.. It’s no fun working on the ground! Or trying to find a place to work on something!Good Tip! 👍

You certainly spent some quality time with the lonely fan, hate it when something simple becomes something so complicated and it's largely self inflicted.

Great video dude! I can already see the hand model contracts rolling in! And you’re right, those mittens are killer.

Oh great Bearded one! It is the year 2265, and yes it it written, your work saved us all. We now are cold free and sunshine clear! And thank you for not showing your hands, but your agility to use your feet and toes has freed us! Now all work is done by feet leaving hands free for fun! Bill and Ted have nothing on you!

This mistake happens when you don't do a lot of exhaust motors. You feel the difference in weight when handling the motor. I would have replaced adjustable pulley too . Your belt looks loose.

That new motor over amping. Motor called for 7.9amps . You needed new pulley

"Stick around guys, let's see if we can find something cool today." while in a crazy cold snap. Dad level jokes here.

Yeah, sometimes when I'm on a roof top that is exactly how I feel, the last man on Earth. I changed some gas valves during the coldest part of the cold snap. Snow drifts on the roofs 3 feet deep and me ratcheting up the attitude that snow won't stop me. If it weren't for the wind blowing the light snow all over the place, it would almost be tolerable. The good news is that the temperature soared to 42°f at last gas valve I replaced. The bad news is the water had no where to go yet and pooled around the unit, but that's the fun of this job.

Even with the correct hp motor it still seems to take a long time to drop the amps on startup . Wonder if bearings are tight on the blower

If there is time to get a new motor and a spare belt, why not new sheaves? I could see the wear on the sheave

should be a small paper-sheet in the motor packaging stating which rotation direction from factory and which wire where for proper rotation.

Belt seem loose to me. Causes too much vibration because it oscilate in part between two pullies.

adjusting that pulley on the motor is not good.. that is used to adjust airflow and amp draw on the motor. Chris from HVACR VIDEOS explains it all the time.

New motor rating plate is 7.9 its pulling 9.45 . Your still over amping. Your driven pulley looks too small and fan blower is moving too much air causing too high a load on motor.

Please tell me you actualy kwow and understand why realeasing any amount of hydrochlorofluorocarbons like R22 is a huge problem and should be prevented at any cost. This is somthing I would consider common knowlage especialy in the refrigiration industry but you are from the USA and assuming things is not always a good idear....
@analogmoz
@analogmoz 3 года назад
I'm frum the USA and I know R-22 boils at -44° F so obviously it will make the sky cold, thats why we stopped releasing it in the winters. It gits too damn cold!

Sorry, I was having a bit of sarcastic fun. Most people who view these videos are aware of the dangers of ODP and GWP with all CFC, HCFC, and HFO refrigerants. I have the American certification for legal handling of refrigerants, ( EPA 608 ,) and while in America we *are* allowed to add refrigerant to a leaking system and we are allowed to use R-22 refrigerant still, (even R-502 or R-12,) venting these to the atmosphere is not only dangerous to our environment, but also lazy and costly. Recovery machines and recovery tanks are not that hard to use. Sorry I was trolling but sometimes the European wing of the RU-vid police get slightly under my skin. Have a great day!

@@analogmoz We all know CFC and HCFC's deplete the Ozone layer which is why they have been phased out and everyone knows it's not supposed to be vented and at the current cost of R-22 I doubt anyone is actually wasting it. Also anyone that has even studied HVAC should have their EPA 608 certification and if you don't have it you can't purchase refrigerants or should even being using them. You need to learn to take a joke as I highly doubt Bill just stands around venting R-22 daily.
