I know a few pre-lci 40i owners who wish the car didn't burble like it does. I personally like it, as do most enthusiasts, but a lot of less enthusiast-oriented M40i owners/shoppers prefer the car without the burbles.
That M40i is too quiet nowadays. I love my 2020 X4 m40i, sounds louder, although the 2018 has more burbles but less tech, The late 2020 engine was updated and still quiet bubbly. :-D
@@B5840i yeah thats so true! I wish they’ve kept it like the 2021 but oh well! The other day when I was really running it hard just playing around. I only have like 3k miles on it now…so I had the car all up to temps an I heard the exhaust pop 💥 and I was like whoooa!!! It put a Huge smile on my face!
@@bmwofmorristown9038 very true! I love my x3M40i everyday. I get a lot of stares from the specs I did on the build + a little custom tweaks to the exterior as well! That m550i is sick!
Surprising to hear that! Most opinions of the LCI taillights are overwhelmingly positive. I think they're super cool. But we're all entitled to our opinions... nothing will be to everyone's taste.
@@bmwofmorristown9038 Surely to each their own. Since the 80s/90s I've always loved most German taillights stare at you, they just produce kind of a German no-smile-seriousness-effect, which is full of confidence. While I can see an upgrade on the LCI taillights clearely, they lack the above-mentioned effect and even do look funny like wearing a stupid glasses that doesn't fit 😂
You realize the X3M40i is just a M340i or M440i meaning m sport lol. The M550i is just an msport also. Soooo idk if youre saying the 5 series is an M cuz it isnt lol. And you do realize that the X3 has an M version just like the rest of BMWs lineup lol.
