Nice work!! Love the hard work, have u tried learning the butterfly? Also what skill do you prefer on rings full planche or iron cross? And if I can ask one more question is rings your favorite apparatus?

When it comes to difficulty, nothing even comes close to rings !
@XxOffTonexX
@XxOffTonexX 3 года назад
There are lots of different kinds of difficulty. Rings Most strength needed. Pommel most balance needed. High Bar most technical. Vault most power needed. Floor most precision. Parallel bars most well rounded. All the events are difficult and every gymnast struggles with a different event. If we took a vote I believe most gymnasts would say pommel horse was the hardest event and most nerve racking to compete.

@@XxOffTonexX That's why gymnastics is perfect sport for all motor skills and gymnasts are the most versatile when it comes to fitness. That's why I believe that gymnasts are the most skilled athletes compared to other sports where only one type of movement and one type of motor skills dominate. Strong man only develops strength, a marathon runner only runs, a football player mainly kicks and runs etc. The gymnast does everything and everything he does is very difficult and advanced in every aspect of physical fitness. The medalist in all gymnastics competitions is a complete, perfect athlete.

@@ukasztarnowski7605 I agree with most of this. The only thing gymnasts lack if anything, is endurance. Their lungs aren't great and they need a lot of rest in between exercises. good analysis though!
@ukasztarnowski7605
@ukasztarnowski7605 3 года назад
@@XxOffTonexX depends what kind of endurance. When we talk about aerobic endurance that can be true because gymnastic routines are rather short. Do you think magnesia can be a problem ?

jake, can you explain to me the importance in training by circuits, please? i started calisthenics a few months ago and now some weight lifting for legs and shoulders (to improve handstand pushups etc). sometimes I feel lost scheduling my training. can you help me?
@juanmanuelcorniellesfiguer6011
Jake Hi , I'm calisthenics athlete and I 'm training my planches on floor, would you help me telling me where I have to concentrate if on my shoulders and biceps or lower back ? I hope to answer

Jake Dalton Gotcha! Makes sense. I've been looking for Adidas gymnastics training shorts (I'm a sucker for Adidas!) for a long time but can't seem to find them anywhere. Bummer! Thanks for replying to my comment! And please keep making more awesome videos! They're great and really fun to watch, too! Cheers!

no one in the comments has any idea how much strength that ring sequence takes
@BCernineyg
@BCernineyg 8 лет назад
:D How do you know that?
@10ahm01
@10ahm01 8 лет назад
+BCern it's just that he's doing maltese to planche presses and everyone is like "nice" , "great" . but if you go to another video where the standards are a bit lower people go crazy after they see someone doing a handstand pushup
@BCernineyg
@BCernineyg 8 лет назад
+ahmed hmair just the people in the comments go crazy, why should others, who are not impressed, comment? Then you have to worry to be called a hater ;D. btw I really appreciate his strength, I can do one iron cross pull and a bad straddle planche on rings. So I think at least every gymnast know how difficult it is to do such stuff on rings
