Exhibition Drive is an exciting sports documentary focused on the nine-day countdown to the final race of the Gold Cup and Saucer in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Filmed during the peak of summer, Exhibition Drive examines the importance of harness racing in Charlottetown and how it brings the city together for one unforgettable event.
The film shows how Charlottetown comes alive with racing fever during Old Home Week, and the thrilling conclusion that is the Gold Cup and Saucer. Harness racing is presented as a shared cultural experience for a diverse population: the residents of Prince Edward Island and the thousands of visitors who flock to the city for Old Home Week. Exhibition Drive provides a unique perspective on Charlottetown's relentless love for harness racing, and, as a result, it uncovers the uniqueness of Charlottetown itself.
Exhibition Drive, the award winning documentary about Old Home Week and The Gold Cup and Saucer, is now available on DVD.

I love this. My grandfathers horse Scotch Gaumen won this race in 1974 and it was one my grandfather's proudest moments that he always talked about. My father also raced horses for years and was very good until unfortunately personal issues derailed his career. I was literally born into this sport and while life has taken me on a different path, I will always be a fan and have so much respect for these men and woman. Fantastic documentary

@@JeremyLarter1979 definitely!! It is nice easy to find his stuff. I have actually never seen him race but heard all the stories. It was before my time, funny story I was actually named after that horse. If you do enjoy racing this is my other Facebook page of stuff from Saint John in the mid 80s. I used to go all the time with my father when I was younger, I try and fly back east and head over for a few days to watch. I enjoy it better than Stampede. Plus my father used to be a Driver before he retired
