Regarding the back packers, my son works up there for Rio Tinto, and he tells me not a day goes by where they don't get flagged down by these people requesting help for one thing or another. He feels it's deliberate as asking others to bail them out saves them money in their own preparation. He's fed up with them, as assisting them impinges on his daily work regime and hours.
Ahh, two of our favourite places in Australia! We spent Christmas 2010 in a campervan around WA and fell in love with Ningaloo and Karijini. Wish we’d had a Troopy like you guys! Thanks for showing us around : )
No worries guys, your comment made us go back through our footage of Ningaloo, just reminded us how badly we need to get back there! That water is incredible. Thanks for the memory bump!
Just watched this again. It's beautiful to see how you guys enjoyed your trip from the early days. And you were doing great Videos from the first days😉 Beeing back in germany after 6 month in wa we enjoy your wa videos the most🤙
It's funny to see all your driving footage. Feels like it's from the drivers perspective, but then you pan to the driver. Aw, right hand drive. I'm glad you took us underwater on this one. Last one you said how good the diving was, but I felt left hanging. Maybe I watch too many sailing Vlogs. Do you dive or snorkel?
The Traveling Together Journal haha yeah driver is on the left hand side in Oz! We do either. We've got all of our own free diving gear with us, though if there's somewhere that we want to scuba dive we just hire the gear as it's easier than taking our own :)
Hi Glenn, Depending on what 4wd/caravan combination you'll have will really dictate what the comparison would be. Pretty much all of the WA/NT is accessible if you have a suitable setup regardless if it's with a camper or caravan. If the setups are suitable for the conditions there would only maybe a handful of places you potentially couldn't go with a caravan. The CSR is the only one that immediately comes to mind, not to say you couldn't though I'd like to see it!
Hi guys ! Loving your work. Camera work and subjects are very good. Am in the process of getting my Troopy camper ready to travel. Watching your fun has made me real keen to get going. Have subscribed and looking forward to following your trip. Enjoy !
