G'day, we're Jolie and Mark and welcome to our channel!
In July 2017 we left Perth, Aus. bound for London, UK in our Troopy, finally reaching our destination after a few hurdles in late 2021.
We're using this channel to showcase the landscapes and culture of the countries we visited along our route, hopefully giving some insight into lesser known places off the tourist trail. So buckle up, subscribe, and come along for the ride.

Hi there, wondering if you can do a quick video about the documents etc and the process of getting permission insurance etc driving a right hand drive car in to those countries who drive on the left hand side of the road???
My Dad’s home village of Papingo ❤ He learned to swim in those rock pools in the 50s. Can’t imagine how different the village must have felt back then 😂. I live in the US but visit as much as I can. Nice video.

Hey Guys - Another Perthie here. I had been planning a similar retirement trip for years as my dream trip, to load up a 76 or 79 series and pretty much do the same thing, except starting in Singapore and ending in London (via Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia Laos, Vietnam, China, Kazakhstan, Russia and into Europe from there..). I accidentally stumbled across your channel about a month ago and have been chugging through each episode up to this one. Sitting down and going over the costs/budget etc is exactly what I wanted to see! This is fantastic, thank you for all the information - I've been researching this route for a couple of years now and was concerned about different countries accepting the Carnet De Passage (particularly China) who I'd contacted and told me it was only valid for 30 days or so.. Problem I've had is much of the research I've tried to do has hit brick walls (i.e Russian Transport Ministry) and so forth. This has been a wave of great info so far.. Would love to see you actually update your website though with all this info one day as its excellent!
ufff what a journey! i am a general cartography enthusiast, such a pleasure to watch google maps come into life! Is there any plans on uploading the Xianjiang part ?
