EXO is so great like it’s not even funny. They have such great vocals and they rock each concept they put out and their music is arranged so well and uniquely I just love it. My favorite songs are Kokobop because of how it’s arranged, it’s very different in terms of musicality (please react), Universe because of the vocals (please react), Lotto because of the vibe and swagger that it gives off (please react) and this one, Call Me Baby because it’s so catchy and it makes you want to dance whenever you hear it.

Some important information about EXO: EXO debuted as a 12 member group with the song Mama. 4 chinese members: Luhan, Kris, Lay, Tao and 8 korean members: Suho, Xiumin, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun. They had 2 sub-units, EXO-M (EXO Mandarin) and EXO-K (EXO Korean) In 2014, Luhan and Kris left EXO so they were left as a 10 member group. Then in 2015, Tao also left EXO. Now they are a 9 member group with only 1 chinese member, Lay. He is still i China right now due to conflict with his promotion schedule in China. So, you won’t see Lay in KoKoBop or any music videos after. They have 1 sub-unit right now and that is EXO-CBX (EXO Chen, Baekhyun, Xiumin) They have a couple music videos out and debuted in 2016 and are still an active sub-unit. Their fandom is called EXO-L. The L stands for love. In alphabetical order, L is the 12th letter (12 members) and after L in the alphabet, It’s K and M (EXO-K, EXO-M) They consider their fans as a sub-unit so if you add all the units together, you get ONE meaning that EXO and its fans together are ONE. That’s also why their slogan is “WE ARE ONE!” complicated, i know 😂

so... (idk if you know thil already but oh well) exo originally had 12 members. they were split in to two sub units; exo-k and exo-m (exo-k sung in korean and exo-m in mandarin) there were also two leaders, one for each sub unit; kris for m and suho for k. kris was the first one to leave exo in 2014. which meant that exo-m didnt have a leader, so suho became the whole groups leader. luhan (from exo-m) was the second to leave exo in late 2014. tao (from exo-m) was the third one to leave in early 2015. lay hasnt been doing exo promotions for about a year (which is why he isnt in all included in mvs from 2017) but he is still a member of exo. so exo is now a 9 member group with 8 active member and one leader. in call me baby there were 10 members since hadnt left yet.

Try EXO Kokobop which IS a bop, or try the very chill Universe by them. I have both in my playlists. I'm multi-fandom, BTS biased, and I just like good music, and try to steer clear of any fan wars.

There are more kpop groups which are very good, I would like to recommend you: GOT7(just right, hard carry, never ever), Jackson Wang is part of GOT7(Papillon, Fendiman, Okay, Castle in the sky), Monsta X(Dramarama, Hero, Spotlight), NCT(7th sense, Limitless)

They’re all vocals (there’s 2 rappers and four lead vocals) since the main rapper Kris Wu(Chinese) left back in 2014 to become a solo artist then within months or so two other Chinese members (Tao[Huang Zitao] & Lu-Han) left the group b/c of the issues that arose between the group and contracts that couldn’t be worked out so they left, leaving one remaining Chinese member Lay [Yixing Zhang] to represent the Chinese part of EXO.

their comeback ‘monster’ was before tao left,which made them 10 but now they are 9 but unfortunately when they were 12 members, 4 members are chinese when they were 12 but 3 left. Now Lay (Yixing) is the only chinese man left but he is often not in the mvs because he is stuck with chinese politics between china and korea

Not allot of other kpop MVs werent like BTS when it comes to mixing English subtitles honestly I don’t know why that is, but I think with EXO since majority of their MVs are in English, they don’t really need subtitles all that much but still would be nice to have them available!! EXO korean-chinese kpop group formed in 2011 debuted in 2012 under SM Entertainment with 12 members but has been remaining 9 members for awhile...they’re 6 years old and debuted a year before BTS even though the plan was that BTS was supposed to debut that year unfortunately things were held up during that time for them (I don’t fully remember the situation) but their debut was pushed to June 13 2013 even tho they pre-debuted with their “No More Dream” MV June 12th a day before their official debut as a group!

yes i love exo!!! i love when groups have members of different nationalities/ethnicities too + i feel like they're so classy. i always listen to their chinese versions cus it really suits their music :') anYWAYS their music is good and the comparisons between exo and bts are really stupid cus they're very different from each other. much more focus on vocals and kinda more united and "typical asian" if you can say that?? i'd say bts is more western and individual?? you should totally check out blackpink or twice though!!! blackpink is more girl crush concept (more western and individual idk) and twice is more cutesy (more asian and united idk). there's also some rivalry between these fandoms lmao they're basically girlgroup bts and exo
