I find it interesting that this is the first mv after DFTF because at the very beginning of that mv are meteors in space and the word "history" and then D.O. seeing a light streaking across the sky... then at the end of the mv the spaceship entered a band of light... Did they travel through time and space at the end and this is where they ended up? The new logo looks like light after all... Remember the individual member planets photos and how they were all on a different members planet... I was trying to see if the members were using the other members power here to match their planets but apart from Chanyeol seemingly using D.O's power, I couldn't see an obvious connection... but that doesn't mean that they aren't all mess up power-wise... This also gave me similarities to the vcrs from the ElyXiOn concert, where they have lost their powers and are all living separately and have normal jobs while on the run from the Red Force (which Baekhyun also gave us a prequel to in his Light concert vcrs) The only thing missing from this mv is the eclipse but I find the absence of it very interesting too because the eclipse brings them together and is a positive thing for them and their powers, so what does it mean that there isn't one at all? Is this a parallel EXO that doesn't know they are EXO and is just existing in the world but weird stuff keeps happening to them or is this past EXO that have been separated, either by choice or by force... I'm so curious! I wonder what the title track is going to show us and how (or if) this is connected!

I agree with the members absorbing the former members powers because we saw time control in Monster, and now in Let me in ...we saw telekinesis in don't fight the feeling teasers, Kai Mmmh, and now in let me in...their powers became strong when together but weak when apart. My theory of this mv is I think that crystal like rock the kid thrown in the water was the Heart of tree of life because everything went wrong after that. i knew it!!! i recognized these rocks too i was like wait arent those from what is love ? Damn one of the reason i love exo is their storyline and im so excited to solve and analyze this mv ( and the other 2 when they come ) and looking at the story again.

I also immediately thought of Channie's part in 'What Is Love' MV when I saw the rock. A few more things: Why is it that, even though the rock is coming out from the water, when Baekhyunnie sees it it's actually going back into the sea? What in the multiverse is happening here?! Also, why is Kai not teleporting and, instead, running to find the dog? And when they show the rock coming out of planet earth, it appears as if both these things are inside the ocean. So happy there are multiple layers - within the MV, the lyrics, and the vocals.

Imagine me being clueless about this mv is gonna drop and just randomly see a new Exo mv on my youtube homepage.. I almost throw my phone to the ground because of the shock 😅 This song and this mv is so beautiful I can't wait for the hear the whole album.. It is gonna be amazing! I am glad that Kai was in this mv but also we don't see all the members together in this one and I was hoping for a little 8 member action 😭 Storywise, I've always assumed Kai was the one who absorbed Tao's time control powers but I guess not cause contrary to other members he looked surprised and clueless.. I felt like in this mv Sehun was the one turning back the time.. Also I don't get how the dog is related to all this.. Is it a reference to their wolf era or something? Also why it was a metal junk that fell onto Kai's car and not a meteor? I also felt like they were reminiscent of the way things were in the past and trying to turn back to those days.. Maybe this mv symbolizes a new beginning like as you said how they have the rocks which is similar to their predebut mv and they are turning back the time to have a fresh start..

I think "rock" is a very important element in this MV. We can clearly see there're at least two kinds of rocks, one is more angular, like the one the kid threw into the river, the one in Suho's room, the one Chanyeol picked up (however, this one with the top part chopped off), and the one Kai held in his hand when he hugged the dog, and of course, the giant meteor hit the earth. The other kind of rock is round, like the one Baekhyun saw in the ocean, and the one D.O. draws in his handbook. But I couldn't find any rocks in Chen/Xiumin scenes. The sand in the hour glass is probably the closest item to rock. Hope someone can figure out what these rocks mean....
