Because Exo vocals are so insane, many people often forget how crazy good they are at dancing… what sets them apart is their incredible musicality and attention to detail… many younger groups are all about hype energy that it can look messy and the feeling and technique is lacking. But with Exo they are so technically clean as a group whilst still maintaining individual style. Their formations and transitions are very difficult but they make it look so smooth… the contrast between that fast and slow, the expression and feeling in every movement - this really takes a lot of control, strength and skill… I cannot take my eyes off D.O. here, his isolation and b-boy energy is so freaking good. And yes, Chanyeol surprised me here. He moves amazingly! They all do. PS this dance practice has a behind the scenes! It shows their real personalities in the practice room and just a lot of goofing around in between hard work. So amazing to see them going from learning the steps, collaborating with the choreographer, making mistakes and correcting it themselves, to perfecting it in this video. Pleeease react to it it’s called “Hear Me Out and Cream Soda Dance Practice Behind the Scenes”
6:39 true, did you guys notice Xiumin in 2:11 the way he came from last position to the front position so fast without breaking away his choreography, he didn't even run but just fast-forwarded his leg moments in juggly manner so he's not easily caught. He's truly one of the most underrated dancer not just in kpop but Exo in general.
@@mochimochi82 ikr, I've seen all Exo performances, the way Xiumin goes from one place to another so fast without breaking away the choreography is always so mesmerizing to see.
Fun fact: Those jersey's EXO are wearing in their "Cream Soda" dance practice are practically vintage at this point. LOL. Those are shirts SM had made when EXO was promoting their concert around the time of their XOXO album and their song "Wolf," etc. way back in 2013. EXOPlanet is referring to the name of one of their concerts, and it's part of EXO's storyline and group concept. Just wait, when Kai comes back from the military and EXO holds a concert, they most likely will perform "Cream Soda," and they will revamp the choreography to include him in the song. With live performances, the choreography is changed every time a member is absent or if another member is added, etc. Therefore, we have to hold out hope that they will perform it again in the future with Kai in the song. He was actually in the process of learning the choreography and practicing with the other EXO members when he found out he had to enlist, so it was originally designed with all the members involved. And Chanyeol and Sehun are already a duo. They are members of the sub-unit EXO-SC, which stands for Sehun and Chanyeol. Plus, they are the rap duo of the EXO, so they do almost everything together. You will see that whenever one of them raps in a song, the other one almost always follows. Besides their names, you may have noticed that all the members have numbers on the front and back of their shirts. The numbers you see on their shirts here, as well as the ones you will see them wearing in concert and in some of their MVs, are special numbers chosen by each of the members. For example: > Suho's number is 1 because as the leader he is No. 1 and he was the first one to be made a member of EXO. > Kris -- a former member of EXO-M (EXO's Mandarin Chinese sub-unit) that left EXO in 2014 -- his number was 00 because he was the leader of EXO-M (It was said that Suho was the mom of the group and Kris was the dad and when you combine 1 and 00 it becomes 100 or 100% complete as leaders.) > Xiumin's number is 99, which the reason is a little complicated -- 88 is morse code for XOXO, which is shorthand for hugs and kisses, or it can also mean EXO like their album title XOXO. Plus, during EXO's "Wolf" song era, which is when the idea of their numbers was first developed, Xiumin's teaser promoting their "Wolf" comeback was the 11th teaser released, so 88+11= 99. > Luhan -- a former member of EXO-M, who left the group in 2014 -- chose number 7 because his favorite soccer player's number is 7. > Lay is 10 because he was born in October and also in Chinese there is a saying that uses the word 10 and it means perfection, so it's a play on words. > Baekhyun is 4 because 4th grade was when he started to get interested in becoming a singer. > Chen's number is 21 (Sept. 21) because it's his birth date. > Chanyeol's number is 61 because his nickname growing up was Park Chanho, who is a famous Korean basketball player, and his jersey number is 61. > D.O.'s number is 12 because it represents his birth date (Jan. 12) and it also stands for 12 members of EXO. > Tao -- a former member of EXO-M, who left the group in 2015 -- was 68 because 6+8=14 and this was the date his "Wolf" MV teaser was released. > Kai's number is 88, and his reason is also a little more complex. As mentioned before, 88 stands for XOXO (hugs and kisses/EXO), which was the name of their "Wolf" album, etc. But Kai chose the number because H is the 8th letter in the English alphabet and HH stands for hip-hop, which he used to represent the fact that he is the main dancer. > Sehun is 94 because he was born in 1994. Now you need to check out EXO's behind the scenes footage of them in the recording studio recording this song, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uGrsRnkb4tk.html, as well as them in the dance studio practicing this dance, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fFapahgjwew.html. I've seen reactions from a couple of choreographers praising everyone but especially D.O, surprised why they hadn't realized that he was so good at dancing and the funny thing is that the most viewed fancams of individual Cream Soda the most viewed are those of D.O...
The best place to start with variety shows has to be Exo Arcade season 1. It’s a mini series and I believe it’s still on RU-vid, they aren’t that too long and I believe they don’t get copyrighted if you want to react to them (I would watch every one of them😂)
You two have now become my favorite kpop reactors bc you authentically feel like part of the fandom. You get into not just the music but their personalities and you get the humor of the inside jokes and poke fun at them right along with us in a loving way. Many reactors never go beyond just checking out the MVs and Killing Voice. I love that you want to start watching some of the variety content. Some of the best fun of being a fan is seeing the dynamics within the group like D.O. and Baekhyun's childish competitiveness with each other (which Baekhyun almost always has the upper hand). You could maybe start with EXO Ladder Season 2 which is when they all get to go on a trip together and play games during it. This has all current members (well, except for Lay). Or EXO Arcade Season 2 which has some of the funniest game moments imo. (However, does not have Suho). I always lmao at when Kai was trying to say the tongue twister so seriously but D.O. is in a giggling fit.
Thank you so much! That really means a lot. We really, really do love this group and we're glad that comes across. EXO Ladder or Arcade sound like the best places to start. Have a great day... and thank you again :-)
@@alongfortheridereactsEXO Arcade Season 2 can be found in EXO official RU-vid channel so I think it will not get block if u react to them. EXO Arcade Season 1 was from Vlive which the platform had been closed down but you can find the video in RU-vid which was uploaded by fans.
They have so many amazing dance practices. If you want more, you can check out "Obsession" and "Monster". But "Electric Kiss" is one of the most complicated one in my opinion. BTW, EXO-CBX "Blooming Day" dance practice is also fantastic. You can see how the two main vocalists (Chen & Baekhyun) move like main dancers.
One of exo choreographer said that XIUMIN could easily be one of the main dancer if only he's confident like Kai. It's evident that he's a superb dancer as well. ❤❤❤❤
Long haired Junmyeon has all of us in chokehold as well. Suho 3rd solo album is dropping early next year. For EXO variety, there's not much contents. But EXO Arcade season 1 and 2 are on youtube. So u can start by reacting to them. It's really funny. Edit: There are few EXO self produced shows under EXO channel which they used to promote member solos recently. They have 2 episodes for cream soda promotion and 1 for exo Christmas manito. Those are hilarious too. I can definitely check them out
They started a choreo with Kai before he was called up. I can't wait to see that version. They not only learn these complicated routines, they also have to be ready and able to adapt to members not being available. Years of dancing and dedication, after having debuted with good skills to start with, has got them this good.
EXO's Sub unit: Exo CBX (Chen, Baekhyun, Xiumin) All their songs are soooo amazing! Exo SC (Sehun and Chanyeol) Their songs are very good. Some are written by them.
Their knowing bros episodes are hilarious and the other one I would highly recommend is EXO Arcade season 1 and 2, each has 5 short episodes and pretty much sums up their personalities!
They have behind the scene videos. You would love seeing them relaxing. Crazy to think while recording the Album, videos and stuff..Chanyoel was making a drama, DO was doing a movie, Suho in a musical, Kai going to the military. I'm exhausted thinking about it! EXO Ladder or EXO arcade.
EXO slayed the vocals, visuals and dance as expected. They always make the intricate, high energy, synchronized choreography appear so easy to do. GOAT they are, no question about it!
Thank you for reacting to this dance practice. You guys are seriously amazing for trying to know Exo in depth, I can assure you, you wouldn't be disappointed. Exo are actually really funny group. For variety shows I'd say that start out with: Exo Showtime Exo Arcade season 1 & 2 Knowing Bros guest appearances Exo Ladder (all 4 seasons)
You will be happy to know that Sehun and Chanyeol have their own sub unit....called EXO-SC. They have 2 albums under their belt already. EXO also has another sub unit....EXO-CBX with Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin. Also don't forget, both Baekhyun and Kai are members of super group SuperM.
the way u were like "omg they should start their own subunit 🥰" was like it was pulled straight out of a comedy sketch idk why that sent me so hard 😭😭😭 also also im not sure if u can find an edit like that The Eve dance practice one but the EXO channel did release a dance practice behind the scenes. its for Hear me Out and Cream Soda 🤠
If you'd like to watch their variety shows to get to know their personalities, you can check out EXO Arcade (season 1 season 2) and EXO Ladders (there are 4 seasons) EXO Ladder Season I: EXO-CBX EXO Ladder Season II: all 8 Korean members EXO Ladder Season III: 5 members (missing Chen, Baekhyun, and Chanyeol, the beagle line) EXO Ladder Season IV: 7 members (missing Kai)
Thanks for your reaction. EXO are amazing dancers. The most complicated dance practice I've ever seen them do was the EXO Electric Kiss Dance Practice. ❤🔥
EXO Showtime was their first variety/reality show filmed in 2013. They were still complete then, so I do recommend that. It shows their personalities well.
You should check out their live performance of this song. They do all this amazing precise dancing and sing cream soda live. You can't tell in their voices at all. It is phenomenal!
I LOVED DO's dancing in this comeback...and Chanyeol improved so much his dancing!his footwalk was on point and it was such a difficult choreography with lots of them...
for variety i would suggest exo arcade and exo ladder (personally i wouldn’t recommend showtime at all or at least until your into them more). another good variety with all of them is xiumin’s housewarming party on his heart4u series also you gotta react to call me baby!! it’s the song that got me into them in 2015 and a whole lot of other people as well
I love EXO dance practice and except for the eve some of the dance practice that I watch for almost if not hundred of times is electric kiss and EXO-CBX blooming days, please try to watch them😊
I hope you get well soon. No need to pressure yourself. It's enough to just enjoy watching. I love to see you react to Exo, but it is better if we enjoy together.❤
EXO has an episode of Knowing Brothers when they were promoting Obsession. it's hilarious. i forget the episode number, though. oh, and Chanyeol and Sehun are a sub-unit: EXO-SC. they've dropped 2 albums already and several videos. =)
And also in the covers of songs performed by Chanyeol and Kyungsoo... "Billionaire" "Love Yourself" "Nothing on You"... "Boyfriend"... a very beautiful performance. I hope you like it and we enjoy your interaction
Lovely reaction as always! 💕 Hope you’re feeling better and fully recovered soon. There’s lots of great variety content to check out once you’re able to. What I’d actually recommend next is a funny moments compilation video here on RU-vid called “Exo are literally comedians”. It was made by Cesar Oh as well!! Fun fact about Cesar Oh, her channel name is a combo of her cats name; Cesar, and her biases last name; Oh (Sehun) 😂
as other exols have suggested here exo arcade and ladder are good variety content for exo (be careful with copyright though). if you're looking for compilations though i recommend hannipunk's channel! thank you for taking the time to make videos even though you aren't feeling 100% just yet, get well soon!
Watching your videos and seeing your SUBS turned to 2,7k in just a month or two makes me so happy! I subbed here when you were still at 125, huhuh please continue making EXO contents....
love the video, your reactions are always so authentic and relatable! i really hope you check out Kard sometime, they're a mixed group with two guys and two girls. they're not very popular in korea for that exact reason but they've built a pretty big audience overseas, especially in latin america, because of their latin-inspired music. their songs are so unique and well-balanced because of the inclusion of both female and male voices. the guys usually rap and the girls sing but they've switched positions a few times too, because Jiwoo is a pretty good rapper and J.seph is a really good vocalist. their choreos are also unisex, incorporating both traditionally masculine and feminine moves, which all of the members do. they've all got such unique voices and it's really easy to distinguish them immediately. they're also such goofballs off-stage, despite people think they'd end up dating, all the members have a fun sibling dynamic between them.
I will follow you for mire exo videos now bcz i dint see this before. Thankyouuu🌸I am a new exol. Ahhh cant tell how much i feel like i have found gems, they are soooo artistic in everything they do. And all of them are doing differemt concepts in their solos too. Plz react to their solos. Lay is insane in concepts and production. Baekhyun, suho, Kai they are the ones i have seen most as of now. 3 DO songs too. I have seen most of his live performances. Their songs have untouchable concepts. Like i cant imagine them if i had never seen them in exo. Thankyou❤
Love your reactions! 😍 Excited to see you react to a lot of stuff! You still have a lot of great MV's ahead like Call me baby, Kokobop, Love me right! And awsome live performances! 🤩 Can't wait!
I know I'm late, but Xiumin , after Kai, is their best dancer. No disrespect to Sehun, but I have always found Xiumin to be more technically gifted, and he just doesn't get enough credit for what he adds to the group. Full disclosure...... Xiumin has always been my bias, as I have always considered him to be EXO"s hidden gem. He can do it all, and he is really cute! That's my guy!
