Honestly, EXO concerts are on another level. Their creative directors are so creative. Every time I say that it can't get any better it gets better. I thought the Exordium (which won best concert of the year in) can't be topped, but elyxion took the throne. Their lives make their MVS look like shit.

It also shows how Suho felt that he failed the band as a leader, which is represented by the fight between him and Chanyeol since Chanyeol is trying to make him come to his senses and realize it wasn't his fault. So in the song they are saying even though they are sad they will still smile and sing for us 💔😭💔😭

"Lightsaber" is a collaboration between SM Entertainment and Disney to promote Disney's most recent release of "Star Wars" across the Asian market in 2015. Disney was looking for a way to promote the movie in Asia and because EXO has such a worldwide following they contacted SM who agreed to work with Disney to create a song, MV and a performance which became "Lightsaber." One of the reason's why SM agreed to work with Disney on this project was because it fits so well with EXO's concept. It makes sense that EXO being aliens from another planet and maybe even another time, could very well be Jedi. I am SOOO glad you also watched the live performance of "Lightsaber" because the MV is only a short version of the song and it really doesn't show much. The MV usually leaves people wishing there was more to the story and song. But the live performance is the full version and, as you discovered, "Lightsaber" is amazing live. "Lightsaber" really takes on a life of its own in concert. Did you notice that Suho made it rain on stage there at the end when they were dancing with their lightsabers? In this concert in particular, they do a lot with water and they dance around in the rain and splash in the water a lot, so when you watch other performances from this concert prepare yourself because they get wet often. EXO are amazing performers, but I have a feeling you haven't seen very many kpop concert performances yet, because as amazing as EXO are in concert, they really aren't that much different than most Kpop groups in concert. Kpop concerts in general are amazing like this. And especially if its an SM group. There is just something unique about an SM concert. SM often goes all out and has very elaborate stages and performances for most of it's groups and artists. Its part of the benefit of being part of one of the big 3 entertainment companies and having the most money, so they are able to do some crazy amazing things with their stages. And like everything EXO does, their concerts and live performances all are connected to their concept which tends to make their stages that much more elaborate because of EXO's storyline. It was Lay's voice that you were having a hard time identifying. If you pay attention in the live performance the camera is focused on Lay during that part of the song so you can see it was him singing. :D Their next MV is "Sing For You" and then "Lucky One" "Monster" and "Lotto." " Sing For You" was a special winter single release so it is a ballad. EXO;s winter albums are usually their ballad albums. "Sing For You" is literally, as the title says, EXO singing to EXO-L and its about how they feel and how they are dealing with Kris, Luhan and Tao leaving the group. The members really felt like they let fans down during this time and that they broke their promise to always be one. So this song was a promise and apology song. You should really look up the lyrics for the song when you react to the MV and a live performance of the song would also be a good idea. :D

Fun fact. In interview exo were asked why star wars - already a blockbuster need help of exo to be promoted- baekhyun answered- he also has no idea😂. And sehun entered the club woth giving up the lighsaber. Basically pay attention to the notices and written stuff in mv.

It represents the members' emotions after members leaving including Tao. So that song is really memorable. And PROMISE us amust. Lay composed it, Chen wrote the Korean version and Channie for his rap part. That song is for exols so it's really special. I highly suggest with Lucky One that you watch the showcase performance along with the music video. There is a reason for this. The Lucky One MV is a story mv, so the choreo is not seen in the MV. Lucky One's choreo is iconic. Personally, EX'ACT album is my close second favorite album, and has the amazing Artificial Love, One and Only, and They Never Know (to name a few, but not all of the amazing songs).
