My buss bars ARE connected directly to the frame, and the batts - And now, I am using 0 gauge power wire. Grounds & Powers should be the same length.

@masongalbraith - Your batteries need to be grounded, as well as your amps. The better the connection, the better the result.

@marilujacobo - There is no frequency setting for the BX-15 besides the subsonic filter which SHOULD NOT be hooked up because it's faulty.

Sounds like a ground loop! Double check all your wiring, and grounds!

hey man great video you should take the van to a body shop to re-weld that roof brace before you put the sound deadener on or do a head liner like a21bravo may help with gaining some db just throwing some ideas out there for ya bud keep up the great work BASSHEADS UNITE!!!!!!

It most likely won't pop, or give you any trouble until you start really hammering on your system. Once your alternator starts producing 250/300 amps - Yes, I think you may see some hot plastic in that case. Why do you have the breaker in the 1st place?

2ohm would be more power for you, so if your coils allow, go for 2ohm --- But which filter are you referring to when saying "what should the htz be"? - HPF? LPF? SSF?

looks sweet EXO! I may be wrong but it looks like you only have one run of 0 gauge going to your alternator case, you should do more like two or three because thats really where all of the power has to go, maybe you would get a tenth of a DB from that alone!

according to the website, that means each sub is getting 600 rms into 4 ohms. amazingly loud for such little power..for now :)

I like sharing the system I've seen and heard .. Not just me me me me me all the time... You should be more open minded to new things! :)

Exo, could you make a little how-to on how to measure Box Rise? Not sure how you figure it out exactly, but I'm guessing maybe you let it play, then measure the resistance of the subwoofer through the speaker wire? Not sure... any help would be appreciated! I have a Kicker 15" CVX and I"m interested into what it's really seeing after everything "warms up"

Aye thanks for the info, I sold my Hifonics BRZ2400.1 and I'm going to order the Soundstream LW1.2600D and hook it up. I hope it sounds good with the reciever i'm using. I'll post up a video of it. But do you think the LW1.2600D is better then the RUB1.2500D?

hey EXO, a couple questions. are you using positive 8 gauge power wire for both the power AND the ground? and i thought grounds from the amp were supposed to be shorter. and directly to the frame. is it okay to have a long ground, and to just hook it up to the buss bar instead of directly to the frame?

What are the factors in determining what kind of batteries you need and how many of them? My friend has a set of 2 AudioQue HDC318's hooked up to an AQ3500.1D and he's only got 1 extra 12v along with his stock battery.

i got a question. I have 120 amp circuit breaker from my primary battery to my secondary battery to the amp. BUT, I got a 320amp alternator from mechman and i am curious if my circuit breaker is going to be poppin everytime the car is on or just when i am running close to dead batteries that makes the alternator put out the 320 amps.
